Found this place without a reservation & had the best lunch in Montreal. Lorenzo is an absolute delight! My teens who are not easily amused were besotted by the lovely service. The food was amazing. Do not hesitate to come here! Thank you. With love from the Aussies celebrating Canada Day.

I come to Modavie every time I'm in Montreal & am never disappointed. The food & drinks are fabulous & the service last time I was there was incredible. Frederick took great care of us & was by far the best waiter I've ever had. Cannot recommend enough!

Wonderful restaurant in old Montréal. Service was impeccable. We had onion soup, garlic snails, calamari, salmon w/risotto & Basque chicken. Everything was great. This restaurant was our son's favorite meal from our first trip to Montréal. Highly recommend. We came in the middle of afternoon. Was not busy when we arrived but filled up quickly, may need reservations. Its a two minute walk to the Notre Dame Basilica. A must try

Modavie is a fun restaurant on the edge of Old Montreal that has a fantastic atmosphere, & really nice live music. They were graciously accommodated a party that expanded from 6 to 10 over a 5-minute period, & their service was excellent. Best mushroom risotto I had ever had!

It's very hard to find a good gluten-free poutine in this area, but the poutine here is gluten-free by default, which we really appreciated. The garlic snails also surprised us - they were absolutely delicious! Very nice place with amazing service! We will definitely come back.
