I guess my standard & expectation on this restaurant is so high. I ordered the Salmon it was swimming with oil you can see it in the photo, I mentioned it to the server he seem doesn't care. The mussels was plenty but a bit salty, the steak & fries is mediocre. Not sure if we will come back here again. We went for the dining area at the second floor with supposed to be a live music our reservation was at 5:45pm no life music until past 7pm when we were almost done with our food & about to leave.

Anytime we're in Montreal we visit this place. I love live music & the atmosphere. We had a table right by the music band, it was loud but we came to listen to the band! Other rooms are less loud.

The food was impressive! Duck, lamb. However a bit over salted in my opinion.
My daughter had a nice birthday cake for her birthday 🎈

We had such a stellar dinner here during our trip to Montreal! The service was so excellent, & the live music throughout the night was a wonderful touch.

We ordered the mushroom risotto & the lamb burger- both were delicious! The blood orange sorbet for dessert also incredible. I'd highly recommend this restaurant!

We had a lovely lunch here. The atmosphere was wonderful, & the live jazz music made the experience very enjoyable. The service was friendly, & the presentation of the dishes was beautiful.

We tried several dishes so we could share & compare. The shrimp was probably our favorite. The garlic snails were okay, but not especially memorable.

A small suggestion for future guests: the house salad comes with quite a generous amount of dressing, so if you prefer a lighter flavor, you may want to ask for the dressing on the side. I also ordered the duck breast. It was cooked nicely, but I personally found it a little rich because of the duck fat, the sweet berry sauce, & the mashed potatoes together. If you prefer lighter dishes, the seafood options might be a better choice.

Overall, we still enjoyed our visit & would happily come back to try other dishes.

Great Lunch for my birthday.
This is my go to restaurant for special occasions, unfortunately we couldn't go for the live music which is in the evenings or weekends, but we had a great time, & a great meal regardless
Lorenzo was welcoming, not only to me , but to my wife, & my kids. So was William, our waiter, & Charles who was just getting ready to play some jazz in the evening. Lorenzo even sang me happy birthday 😀.
100% recommended, we will be back.

Food is consistently good. Service is also very good considering how busy they can get. They have live jazz music upstairs & downstairs which i think is a plus. They do have a bar section on the ground floor if you prefer to avoid the larger rooms with live music

Can't say anything negative, great food & service - the live jazz can be experienced or avoided depending on your mood - pleasant background music for us!
