We had such a stellar dinner here during our trip to Montreal! The service was so excellent, & the live music throughout the night was a wonderful touch.

We ordered the mushroom risotto & the lamb burger- both were delicious! The blood orange sorbet for dessert also incredible. I'd highly recommend this restaurant!

From the greeting at the door to the last bite, the service was pleasant & professional. Our waiter Quentin was great. He was very busy but efficient, kind & professional. Food was well prepared & delicious. ( calamari, lamb cavitelli & lamb chops, paired with a nice wine & completed with cheesecake & chocolate mousse). Highly recommend.

An unforgettable dining experience in Old Montreal! From the moment we walked in, everything was exceptional. The service was truly outstanding - attentive, personalized & genuinely welcoming. The staff made us feel like valued guests throughout the entire evening.

The food was absolutely incredible. The beef tartare was one of the best I've ever had, the French onion soup was rich, flavorful & perfectly prepared, the escargots were delicious, & the duck was cooked to perfection - tender, juicy & full of flavor.

Their wine selection is outstanding, with an impressive variety to complement every dish.

Beautiful atmosphere, impeccable service, & unforgettable food. This is the kind of restaurant that makes you want to return every time you're in Montreal. Highly recommended!!!

Stumbled in here by chance & it ended up being one of my favorite dining experiences in Montréal!

Service: exceptional

Food: I got the moules frites & it was incroyable. Sooooo many mussels & fries, I was stuffed. The sauce is so good too.

They have a great wine list as well & the staff will let you try any of them before committing (even if you are just ordering a glass).

Highly recommend if you want top notch service & food. Big portion sizes so come hungry!

Wonderful restaurant in old Montréal. Service was impeccable. We had onion soup, garlic snails, calamari, salmon w/risotto & Basque chicken. Everything was great. This restaurant was our son's favorite meal from our first trip to Montréal. Highly recommend. We came in the middle of afternoon. Was not busy when we arrived but filled up quickly, may need reservations. Its a two minute walk to the Notre Dame Basilica. A must try

Delicious & great vibes! Even our kids received a lovely welcome from Lorenzo, & by far the best meal we had in Old Montreal. Highly recommend but make a reservation! Kids menu (Mac n cheese, nuggets with fries, pasta) was a huge plus.

Best steak frites & onion soup we've ever had. The steak was so tender & cooked perfectly. Onion soup was flavorful & took the soul for a ride. The mushroom risotto was not too heavy & cooked perfectly. The backstage cocktail was a delicious take on an espresso martini & I plan to try & recreate it at home.

The host was incredibly warm & inviting. He gave us a cozy corner table with an amazing view towards old town Montreal. Our waiter was so warm & friendly, & we were well taken care of. Highly recommend & 100% will be coming back. Merci Beaucoup!

Modavie is the perfect place for dinner in Montreal. The live jazz creates a wonderful atmosphere, making the experience truly special. The highlight of the meal was the rack of lamb-it was perfectly cooked, tender, & full of flavor. I highly recommend Modavie for anyone looking for great food, live music, & an unforgettable dining experience.
