I went on vacation to celebrate my boyfriend's bday & made a reservation to listen some jazz. From the moment we arrived, the service was wonderful. Our server introduced himself & gave us his recommendations from the menu, which of course we followed & he did not dissapoint!
The food was spectacular. The french onion soup was one of the best we've ever had, & the cocktails were excellent as well.
We will definitely be back, & we've already recommended this place to everyone we know. It's absolutely worth it!

Incredible experience! The host was very personable, & our server was the best! He was very friendly & the service was immaculate, unfortunately I didn't catch his name but he was one of the best servers I've had in a long time, anywhere. The food is absolutely to die for & the wine was impeccable. The musicians were also incredible. Overall it was such a good evening & I will be sure to recommend this restaurant. We are certain to return the next time we are in Montreal.

Lorenzo was so welcoming & from the minute we walked in the service was impeccable! I loved the lamb poutine & highly recommend it! Will definitely be back for the amazing service, food & views!

Excellente adresse dans le Vieux-Montréal ! Très belle découverte chez Modavie. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillis avec beaucoup de gentillesse & de professionnalisme. Le service est attentionné, chaleureux & efficace, sans jamais être pesant.

La table est excellente, les plats sont soignés & savoureux, & l'ambiance du restaurant contribue vraiment au plaisir du moment.

Une adresse que nous recommandons sans hésiter & où nous reviendrions avec grand plaisir lors d'un prochain passage à Montréal. Bravo à toute l'équipe !

Gorgeous spot with great music. The lamb cavatelli & duck leg were both excellent, & the martini was cold & strong. Highly recommend!

We had such a stellar dinner here during our trip to Montreal! The service was so excellent, & the live music throughout the night was a wonderful touch.

We ordered the mushroom risotto & the lamb burger- both were delicious! The blood orange sorbet for dessert also incredible. I'd highly recommend this restaurant!

From the greeting at the door to the last bite, the service was pleasant & professional. Our waiter Quentin was great. He was very busy but efficient, kind & professional. Food was well prepared & delicious. ( calamari, lamb cavitelli & lamb chops, paired with a nice wine & completed with cheesecake & chocolate mousse). Highly recommend.

Great Lunch for my birthday.
This is my go to restaurant for special occasions, unfortunately we couldn't go for the live music which is in the evenings or weekends, but we had a great time, & a great meal regardless
Lorenzo was welcoming, not only to me , but to my wife, & my kids. So was William, our waiter, & Charles who was just getting ready to play some jazz in the evening. Lorenzo even sang me happy birthday 😀.
100% recommended, we will be back.

Authentic bistro with outstanding food & service.
Very tight quarters, not for larger people. Interesting & attentive personnel/servers. Rather expensive, though reasonable if one limits wine/brandy/desserts. Recommended.
