We had such a stellar dinner here during our trip to Montreal! The service was so excellent, & the live music throughout the night was a wonderful touch.

We ordered the mushroom risotto & the lamb burger- both were delicious! The blood orange sorbet for dessert also incredible. I'd highly recommend this restaurant!

From the greeting at the door to the last bite, the service was pleasant & professional. Our waiter Quentin was great. He was very busy but efficient, kind & professional. Food was well prepared & delicious. ( calamari, lamb cavitelli & lamb chops, paired with a nice wine & completed with cheesecake & chocolate mousse). Highly recommend.

Excellent food. I wanted to have my lamb rack medium well done, but waitress told me they only have it up to medium level. After I tasted it I fully realized why. It was cooked enough yet still soft & juicy. Just perfect.

Beau resto offrant une belle ambiance avec des musiciens à partir de 19h. Le serveur était très attentionné. Escargots à l'ail servi très chaud, persillés & goût d'ail bien présent, excellente entrée. Les pâtes étaient bonnes, le tartare de saumon aurait pu être servi plus froid & rehaussé de saveurs. Gâteau au fromage & crème brûlée savoureux. Réservation nécessaire.Beau resto bien situé.

Lorenzo was very attentive & knowledgeable to our request for a gluten free poutine with lamb. The poutine had small thin fries & the gravy was not heavy. The lamb was shredded & delicious. Thanks Lorenzo! He was also kind & sweet.

Beautiful restaurant, amazing food! I am here in Montreal fairly often for my job, & if I have a long overnight I always come here to Modavie. Lovely staff, cute atmosphere, relaxing space!! & the food is incredible! Get the lamb cavatelli; will not disappoint. Will always recommend this place!

Strong dish selection throughout & alot of good flavour setups in the dishes. The mussels & the lamb poutine stood out in particular though. The marinieres I think thats what it is called was good enough you could literally serve it as a soup by itself & people would be happy but it was smooth abd creamy & just packed so much warmth. The poutine made everything work with a delicious gravy & just well braised lamb. Just very solid pairing there overall. The seasonal pasta was a linguini with truffles, mushrooms & some other things that was quite good as well & we had some classics like beef tartare & french onion soup to share amongst us.

Dinner on a Monday night & couldn't believe how incredible it would be. Service is way above expectations & food was delicious. Calamari is worth ordering. Lamb burger is underrated! One of the best burgers I have ever had! The acoustic music upstairs was something I could have sat & listened to for hours.. Just an overall amazing dinner & experience! Make the reservation & enjoy!
