The food & service was great! Our server was very friendly & the food came out fairly quickly. My only gripe is that the portion size was a little small for the price, & I left a little hungry still. Additionally, our server took a while to come back to our table to give us our check. I believe we were sitting around for 30 minutes after finishing eating.

It's set in a nice old building & brasserie style

The service was excellent attentive but not overbearing 5 stars

The food was 5 stars. this is Rich French food, not a light fare.

Green salad 4.5 stars

The moule & frite. Mussels were in a creamy white wine sauce. Portion very large satisfying 5 stars
The French fries were fresh perfect size for crispiness to inside ratio. 5 stars. Way too much. Super extra large

Duck confit roasted layered with spinach at bottom, then roasted potato wedges with duck leg quarter on top Topped with sliced roasted almonds. 5 stars

Beautiful restaurant, amazing food! I am here in Montreal fairly often for my job, & if I have a long overnight I always come here to Modavie. Lovely staff, cute atmosphere, relaxing space!! & the food is incredible! Get the lamb cavatelli; will not disappoint. Will always recommend this place!

Staff was super friendly. Food was OK, but took more than an hour to get done. The band playing was nice. Even after they left, the environment was still very noisy.

J'y suis allé avec mon copain pour mon anniversaire cetait super. La bouffe parfaite notre serveuse etait génial le vin super bon jai eu le coup de coeur sur la poutine en entrer & le steak de mon copain(haha) & le groupe de blues en live whouaaaaaa cetait la cerise sur le gâteau. On va se mémoriser cette soirée pour longtemps ..MERCI MOLDAVIE♡♡♡

je suis passé au resto hier. franchement c'était pas mauvais mais je m'attendais à mieux. le service était un peu long & le plat manquait un peu de goût. par contre l'endroit est sympa & assez calme. peut être que j'ai juste pas choisi le bon menu, mais je sais pas si j'y retournerai bientôt
