I recently experienced brunch at Modavie, & it was an absolute delight. The service was exceptional, with attentive & friendly staff ensuring that every aspect of our dining experience was perfect. The restaurant itself exuded class & beauty, providing a charming ambiance that added to the overall enjoyment of the meal. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed & well taken care of. Modavie truly excels in offering a memorable brunch experience, & I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a combination of excellent service & elegant surroundings.
Everything was really good! Tasty food (we ordered onion soup, escargot, mussels & duck, wine, additionally they brought hot delicious bread with butter). Really nice service & amazing atmosphere with jazz music.

We dined here on January 19 & everything was phenomenal! Our server, the head server, was very personable, interactive & all around amazing! The cocktails were perfect & balanced, & all the food left us wanting to come back for more. The next time we are in Montreal, it will be a must to dine here. Many thanks for such a wonderful meal experience!
Food was very good, service was excellent but music à bit loud for people sitting in the same hall where musicians are playing. Probably should have speaker in all rooms & play a bit leas loud.

We were recommended to go here by our hotel because we wanted to listen to live music. We were far from disappointed. We came for brunch & Lorenzo made us feel at home the moment we arrived & the music really set the tone. To top it off the food is delicious & we couldn't wait to come back to try dinner. We came back again that evening & we were served by George who created a seamless experience for us & our two young kids. We appreciated his wine suggestions & once again the food was so delicious. This restaurant really was the highlight of our trip, if you're looking for a cool vibe with live music, delicious food & great staff this is your place ! Nicole
The food is spectacular. We had bone marrow, escargot, lamb chops & a lamb pasta. Everything was seasoned & cooked to perfection. Highly recommend the restaurant which is located in the middle of everything.
Stopped in for lunch while visiting from New York. Wonderful live music playing while tasting delicious cuisine at the bar. The staff are all on top of their game. Lorenzo (manager) was so welcoming & personable.

Good lunch at Modavie, in which I could appreciate the professional staff, the warm decor & some good food. In particular, I enjoyed my salmon dish with various vegetables & I also enjoyed the broccoli soup that they brought us as a complimentary entrée. For a dish each, we paid around 90 CAD (taxes & tip included) which is not the cheapest thing but aligned with the quality & general atmosphere of the place.
A cute little restaurant with exceptionally great service. Menu is an little heavy on the lamb, but the chicken was made to perfection, so I can give it a pass.
Fast service. Very Friendly waiters. Yummy snails. 🐌 first time trying & was blown away... Beef tartare was also a 9/10 very well seasoned. Mussels were delicious as well. Thank youuu - our favorite meal in Montreal so far.
10/10 brunch experience!!! (June 2022) Very quaint atmosphere, delicious food, affordable prices & outstanding ambiance. Particularly enjoyed the jazz music at brunch which was a delight. I had the eggs benedict with lamb, creme brulee for dessert. My friend had the breakfast poutine. Came for dinner May 2023 - duck confit was delicious & so was the creme brulee. The appetizer bread & butter was so yummy. Beautiful background live music which I enjoyed over my meal. Jan 2024: had duck breast, grapefruit mimosa.
Amazing place, best service ever from our waitress jess (if i'm not wrong), accommodates us the entire night & truly was a joy to be around, will be going back.
