Great Lunch for my birthday.
This is my go to restaurant for special occasions, unfortunately we couldn't go for the live music which is in the evenings or weekends, but we had a great time, & a great meal regardless
Lorenzo was welcoming, not only to me , but to my wife, & my kids. So was William, our waiter, & Charles who was just getting ready to play some jazz in the evening. Lorenzo even sang me happy birthday 😀.
100% recommended, we will be back.

Authentic bistro with outstanding food & service.
Very tight quarters, not for larger people. Interesting & attentive personnel/servers. Rather expensive, though reasonable if one limits wine/brandy/desserts. Recommended.

An unforgettable dining experience in Old Montreal! From the moment we walked in, everything was exceptional. The service was truly outstanding - attentive, personalized & genuinely welcoming. The staff made us feel like valued guests throughout the entire evening.

The food was absolutely incredible. The beef tartare was one of the best I've ever had, the French onion soup was rich, flavorful & perfectly prepared, the escargots were delicious, & the duck was cooked to perfection - tender, juicy & full of flavor.

Their wine selection is outstanding, with an impressive variety to complement every dish.

Beautiful atmosphere, impeccable service, & unforgettable food. This is the kind of restaurant that makes you want to return every time you're in Montreal. Highly recommended!!!

Beautiful restaurant, amazing food! I am here in Montreal fairly often for my job, & if I have a long overnight I always come here to Modavie. Lovely staff, cute atmosphere, relaxing space!! & the food is incredible! Get the lamb cavatelli; will not disappoint. Will always recommend this place!

Came in for dinner & they had a live jazz band! Food was great! It took a while for food to come but it was worth it. Service was great too, staff were attentive & pleasant. Would recommend getting a reservation, place was packed!

Stumbled in here by chance & it ended up being one of my favorite dining experiences in Montréal!

Service: exceptional

Food: I got the moules frites & it was incroyable. Sooooo many mussels & fries, I was stuffed. The sauce is so good too.

They have a great wine list as well & the staff will let you try any of them before committing (even if you are just ordering a glass).

Highly recommend if you want top notch service & food. Big portion sizes so come hungry!

I walked in solo without reservations at 4pm for Modavie's dinner service. They accommodated me easily with a cozy 2 top near a window, but let me know I'd have to be done within 2 hours.
The waiter was friendly, brought me table bread quickly & recommended a great glass of red wine that paired perfectly with my lamb chops.
The meal, the music & the service were all 10/10.

Fantastic service, very prompt & welcoming. The only reason Im giving a 4 for food, is because I asked my lamb chops medium rare...& as you can see, they were medium.

Everything was tasty, & so delicious!

I come to Modavie every time I'm in Montreal & am never disappointed. The food & drinks are fabulous & the service last time I was there was incredible. Frederick took great care of us & was by far the best waiter I've ever had. Cannot recommend enough!
