Its name reminiscent of the desert, Le Mirage is a charming Mediterranean restaurant located in the heart of downtown Montreal. The warm décor in Oriental colours, and the menu featuring traditional dishes such as fattoush salad, tabbouleh and grilled meats, makes this the perfect place to get together as a group and share a meal. Early risers will be pleased as you can also enjoy their brunches every day of the week from 8am.
Overall, diners describe Mirage Restaurant as a cozy, welcoming spot with a rich Middle Eastern ambiance and an attractive, ornate interior. The food is repeatedly praised for bold flavors, generous portions, and variety, with standout grills and kebabs, Mansaf, kafta, and Lebanese specialties complemented by silky hummus, tangy labneh, fattoush and other mezze; the desserts and Moroccan tea are noted as pleasant finishes. Service is frequently highlighted as professional, attentive, and friendly, contributing to a warm, homey feel, though a few visits report slower lunch service or occasional missteps with timing or bread quality. The atmosphere is described as comfortable and charming, suitable for family dinners, celebrations, or casual meals, with many recalling a memorable, immersive experience and some evenings busier than others, so reservations are advised. Price appears to be a mixed bag depending on the night and dish, with many reviewers calling portions fair or generous for the quality and location, while a few feel the price tag can be high for Montreal and note occasional value concerns. Overall, Mirage Restaurant is seen as a strong option for authentic, flavorful Mediterranean cuisine, with a focus on warm hospitality and a distinctive, elegant setting that makes it easier to return for future gatherings.
probably one of the worst lebanese food spots, doesn't even deserve to be called lebanese food, everything is off, cheese rolls are the worst i never had anything like that, hummus & mutabbal have too much tahini & the meat in the hummus with meat is very chewy & has no taste, fattouch has extra ingredients that usually don't go on a fattouch, the vine leaves don't taste like vine leaves. the server was trying his best but there was only one server for the whole restaurant so we had to wait a lot every time we needed anything.
Really enjoyed the cozy & relaxing vibes here, the interior design is very Damascus style while it's mixed Syrian & Lebanese cuisine. Hidden species from Syrian Aleppo's cuisine, which I only found it here. The dose of salt was controlled I was amazed by that, most Middle Eastern or Mediterranean cuisine in Montreal were a bit over salty & sometimes oily. Here the dishes are fresh & light, but also proper flavored. Proportion of sauces are not huge, but salad is in generous quantity. Service is superior, efficient & friendly. They took feedback from customer & responded it quickly. As I complained the proportion of my lemonana was small they offered me another cup, I felt a bit awkward as our table brother immediately offered that. Variety of kebab & other meat dishes like sandwiches are also impressive. Kebab was dry & lean, which was totally my preference. In conclusion, highly recommended!

Given that this place is in downtown Montreal I find it exceptionally spacious! Decoration is great, I liked the oriental lanterns hanging from the ceiling & there is a cozy table by the window, it can easily fit a family, I would ask for it next time. Staff are super friendly & nice, I owe them the best part of my visit. Now the food: Everything was great, quantity is just right & taste is great, especially the grills, these are served on a long wooden plate with fire in the middle, never seen that before, it looked so cool & you get that feeling of having a bbq in the garden on a summer day. One thing I did not like & it is why I gave them 4 stars instead of 5, is the Tabbuleh salad. We were 10 people & Tabbuleh was the only thing we all did not touch. Now, you may say does Tabbuleh deserve stripping a whole star from a review, well to me, it does, there is no better gauge for good Lebanese food than Tabbuleh.
The best Lebanese restaurant in all Montreal! The food is so authentic & full of flavor, the portions are descent, the atmosphere is charming.. & the prices are super reasonable! But above all, what would always make me come back is the exceptional warmth & welcome we get constantly from Rahaf over there.. she truly deserves a shout-out!!
Forgot 5 star, this place is definitely a 10 star, with lots of great choices excellent ambiance & fantastic service without a doubt this is one of the best if not the best Lebanese restaurants in Quebec a must try, don't sleep on this excellent culinary experience that would have your taste buds buzzing with joy for days.
The food was good, but the aftermath was terrible. Both of us ended up with gas & stomach pain, which means the food was super greasy. I've been eating Lebanese food for years & have never experienced this kind of discomfort before. There were four of us in total, & two of us were fasting for Ramadan. The table had dates, but no water. I asked the waitress twice, & still no water. Finally, my friend had to ask a third time before they brought it. If you're advertising an iftar menu, at least consider that people are fasting & need water to break their fast. The service was slow too-took forever & they didn't check on us much. The food looked nice, but what's the point if it makes you feel sick afterward? The bill for three of us was $240 before taxes, which is way too much for the amount of food we got. Other Lebanese places give you more food for a much cheaper price. This place is clearly all about the location & design. I wouldn't recommend it.
Been to Mirage twice. By far it is the best Lebanese/Syrian restaurant I tried in Montreal. A big shoutout to the chefs & owners for delivering authentic Syrian food. It is the restaurant I take non Arabic friends to to impress. Price range compared to quality is really fair & not expensive. Service is great & the atmosphere is amazing (Arabic music played in the background & the interior decoration is wonderful).
I love this place a lot. It was recommended to me by a friend & worth going. They have authentic Lebanese meals. They offer excellent customer service. I like the store decoration. It is like being in Lebanon. Every dish is delicious & must try. I brought my friends there & they loved it. I just wish it was a bigger place. Hope they expand soon.

Great lebanese place, situated next to another Lebanese restaurant! The inside is done really well & looks very pretty with the lights. We tried Muhammara, Shish Touk & Fatteh hummus. The portion size is typical! We went on a busy evening so service was a bit slow but the Turkish guy who served us was very nice & polite & provided good recommendations! Would surely come back
