Genuinely impressed with the food & coffee here. With so many interesting cafes & restaurants in this wonderful City, I rarely want to go to the same place twice. But I will certainly return to Mintar.
Perfect in every way. Beautiful presentation. I loved this cafe & I came here 3 times in 3 days while at a conference nearby. A gem! I had lunch twice & the sandwiches were delightful.

I saw the pistachio croissant & I had to have it. It was better than I could have imagined. Not only is it covered with a delicious pistachio paste on the outside, it is sliced in half & spread with the filling on the inside. Highly recommended for those 10,000+ step days.
The cortado was very nicely prepared too. With a nice dark foam.
It was raining outside & it was nice to escape inside by the window.
There are not a lot of seats & it got BUSY after I sat down. They are well staffed & quick with the service though.
Oh wait! I see more seats upstairs. What a gem this café is. I will stay awhile.
The guy on the till speaks great English & French.
Petit café tout simple un peu à l'extérieur de la zone touristique. Quel accueil fabuleux, on s'assure à quelques reprises que nous sommes satisfait de notre repas & oui nous étions très satisfaits. Les portions sont copieuses à un prix fort raisonnable, & le tout très, très savoureux . Leur café est un délice. Osez explorer & vous serez ravis.
We had a lovely breakfast at this cafe & were genuinely impressed by the warm & attentive service. Despite the place being quite busy, the staff remained kind, composed, & consistently made an effort to check in with customers. It was clear they genuinely care about creating a good experience for everyone - we could hear the staff member regularly asking guests if they needed anything, which really stood out.
As for the food - the coffee was excellent, & both of our meals were delicious. We got the steak & eggs, & the egg & ham. Both were flavorful & well-prepared. The entire atmosphere was cozy & inviting, making it a place we'd be happy to return to.
Next time, we're planning to try their breakfast bowls - they looked great!

I had a fantastic experience at this cafe! The coffee was perfect-rich & flavorful. The service was amazing; the staff were friendly & attentive. Additionally, the food was delicious, offering a great variety of options. Highly recommend!
Mintar Café Inc became my go-to spot for breakfast in Montreal. I loved it so much that I went back twice! The service was excellent, & both times I visited, it was busy, which is always a good sign. It's not just tourists; even locals come here for breakfast. I had a steak that was a little spicy, but I really enjoyed it, & the Americano was perfect. It's a great place with wonderful service, & I highly recommend it.

The best place & hospitality we recieved when in M'tl. We were just on couple days of trip & decided to go here on our last day of our trip & i m glad we went here. The barista (probs the owner) i guess took good care of his customers. He was very attentive while taking irders & making everyones order. Very friendly atmosphere & there was never a room if awkwardness or customer owner vibe. He was very friendly with everybody in the cafe. Will definitely come back here wenever i visit next.

De passage en ville, j'ai découvert ce café-snack situé au coeur de la Place des Arts, tout près de l'UQAM.
Le service est au top, chaleureux & attentionné.
Le café est excellent & le bowl… juste incroyable ! Des saveurs fraîches & bien équilibrées.
Une belle découverte que je recommande sans hésiter. Je reviendrai à coup sûr !
Me & a friend decided to go to Mintar today & from the start we were warmly greeted by the barista & the owner of the cafe. The owner is supper nice & came up to us making sure everything was to our liking. Me & my friend each took a latte, we ordered the cottage cheese pancakes & the classic sandwich to share & everything was absolutely amazing. The portions were big, we couldn't finish our plates but we had a hard time stopping because it was so good. Definitely a hidden gem & will definitely be going back.
Prerequisite for a cafe should be to have decent wifi. Something third world country cafes have, whereas this cafe has a non-existent connection. If you're planning on working, seek another location.
I was truly impressed by the staff's attentiveness, politeness, friendliness, & proactive approach. Rare qualities, I seldom found in any other cafe in Montreal.
Ambience is good enought to dive in to a book.
The coffee was decent & served in a cool cup. The Almond croissant felt a bit stale so i left it midway. Will give benefit of doubt here.
Overall a descent experience, The staff definitely outshines as compared to other cafes.

J'avais un rendez-vous dans le secteur, du temps à tuer & un déjeuner à manger. Si j'ai le choix entre un café d'une franchise ou un petit café du coin, je prends TOUJOURS la deuxième option. Arrivée dans ce minuscule café avec sept table & une vingtaine de chaises, je choisi un sandwich oeuf & jambon & un americano. Les deux étaient extraordinaire. Le café & fort & le plats parfaitement assaisonner. De plus, la musique arabe (pas mal certain) m'a presque fait sentir comme chez moi. Ajoutant ainsi un accent chaleureux au restaurant. 10/10
