We had a lovely breakfast at this cafe & were genuinely impressed by the warm & attentive service. Despite the place being quite busy, the staff remained kind, composed, & consistently made an effort to check in with customers. It was clear they genuinely care about creating a good experience for everyone - we could hear the staff member regularly asking guests if they needed anything, which really stood out.
As for the food - the coffee was excellent, & both of our meals were delicious. We got the steak & eggs, & the egg & ham. Both were flavorful & well-prepared. The entire atmosphere was cozy & inviting, making it a place we'd be happy to return to.
Next time, we're planning to try their breakfast bowls - they looked great!
The owner is kind! All the staff put love a d care into everything they make. A warm & welcoming atmosphere with great coffee & tea selection as well as healthy bowls & shakes.

De passage en ville, j'ai découvert ce café-snack situé au coeur de la Place des Arts, tout près de l'UQAM.
Le service est au top, chaleureux & attentionné.
Le café est excellent & le bowl… juste incroyable ! Des saveurs fraîches & bien équilibrées.
Une belle découverte que je recommande sans hésiter. Je reviendrai à coup sûr !
The food I had was amazing! I ordered the pancakes & a fruit yogurt bowl. The presentation was A+ & the staff was beyond friendly. They would check up on us & if we looked low on something like honey or syrup they would bring some over. I would definitely come back here!
Mintar is a somewhat hidden gem in this area. Perfect matcha latte & hazelnut latte drinks to go with beautiful & tasty smoothie bowls & delicious omelette sandwiches served with a side of seasoned potatoes were exactly what we didn't know we needed but really enjoyed! Service is friendly & atmosphere is cute & relaxing. This is a great place to take a break & recharge, study or work if you have to while enjoying some food or drink. They have smoothies too. We would enjoy a return visit!

I had there strawberry banana smoothie bowl here & it was out of this world good. I also had their Cappuccino which was pretty decent. For dessert I this thing that looks like a cannoli but has Nutella in them & they are way better.
Oh my goodness me!!! I had the L'ouef Halloumi & iced Macha latte & it was amazing, hats off to the chef. Donna is so kind & sweet, even when I asked for more potatoes & hot sauce 😁. As someone who is in Montreal for the first time, what a lovely experience. The cafe is super intimate & so cute :) I will be back tomorrow morning for the smoothie bowl 😊

I enjoyed an iced latte & my family had a smoothie bowl & sandwiches. Portions were generous & they looked delicious. Warm & welcoming staff. Older cafe decor & space for one large group & several small groups of two.
What a beautiful small place with lovely food! Tried the smootie bowl with banana & strawberry, was lovely & beautifully presented! Will come back soon, & if it is just for the yummy croissants you offer too.. this time i stayed on the healthy side.
