Expérience décevante globalement.
La nourriture n'avait rien d'exceptionnelle, bien que ce n'a pas été le problème de la soirée.
Le service…. Il faut faire beaucoup mieux… avec une gratuité a 18% & une manager qui ne voulait rien entendre qui me répète que nous avons signé un contrat. Mais dites moi avez-VOUS respecter votre part du contrat.
Excellent place, excellent food, excellent service. What else is there to say? If you want to eat great food in a friendly environment, look no further.
Brunch was amazing & well priced. We did the fixed menu for a group of 10 at $45 a person it was so much food & all delicious. Good mix of savory & sweet.
Service was confusing our server kept changing , overall good experience the foods was tasty the fries were great , the Boston cream was delicious you won't regret it .

Perfect balance of fancy but not stuffy. Great dishes, the devilled brussel sprouts were amazing, so was the roast beef. There was a marriage proposal at the table right next to us, many festive occasions, mutiple birthdays. Beautiful place. Really good food. Excellent waiters. Great desserts, especially their famous homemade donuts.
The only downside is the noise level due to their high ceilings.
Absolutely loved our experience here. We came as a group & enjoyed the family style menu, & tried a bunch of their dishes. I loved the Brussel sprouts, the rigatoni & the chicken with gravy the most! Can't wait to go again in the future.

Not sure if we went on an off night or if Mckiernans is extremely overhyped. To start off on a good note - our waitress was very kind & did explain to us that the kitchen was a bit slow (totally fine).
I had high-ish expectations for Mckiernans from reading reviews, their instagram, & being a fan of Liverpool House. What I didn't expect was to have my first bad meal l in this city.
We ordered a few dishes (2 apps) & 3 mains to try a bit of everything. The apps ended up coming with the main meals which we didn't expect. Not a fan. Every single bite that was taken was bland & somewhat dry. It's like they completely forgot to add salt before during or after making the dishes. Overwhelming when they brought all the food at once.. underwhelming when eating. I do hope this was just a crazy Friday night & not an every weekend occurrence of meh.
I love this place. Especially on a cold fall evening, comfort food in a beautiful dimly lit room.
I didn't know tomato could be savoured until my diner at McKiernan. Wow! I loved the tomato & burrata starter. The bread, the chicken, the cheesecake dessert, everything was top notch. The place is baby friendly & the staff was very thoughtful.
One of my favourite spot for lunch, the space, the food, the staff. Always rolling out of there :)

L'ambiance, la bouffe & le service sont au niveau auquel j'espérais!
Je recommande pour une bonne bouffe entre amis, famille ou collègues de travail.
Littéralement, rien de négatif à dire. C'est rare que je donne un 5 étoiles en tout point.
Si vous voulez vous gâter, considérez ce restaurant.
Nous sommes allés au Mc Kiernan en famille hier & nous avons adoré notre soirée. Nourriture exceptionnelle, excellent service & ambiance chaleureuse. Je recommande fortement !
