Staff is bilingual, but definitely more french leaning. The pasta I had was okay, although I wish I had tried the antipasti as they looked really good. Definitely would recommend going out of your comfort zone for the food selection, as I don't think the "safer" options are as good.
Just ate with my boss! Had a good time! Food was amazing! I have to say the service was a little slow waitress forgot twice our beers, she was still very nice! Other than that it was a nice vibe & experience! 5 ⭐️ well def come back :)
Great spot with a lively atmosphere! If you're aiming for an outdoor seat, be prepared to wait at least 15 minutes longer than the estimated time-but you can enjoy a drink while you wait! The pasta is incredible, the drinks are creative & fun, & the best part? They welcome dogs on the patio!
Idk how many times i came here, or the amount of friends & family i brought in. the best italian restaurant in town, service is top notch!!! Must become a michelin star !!!
Arriving pretty late in the evening to a hotel in Griffintown, it was difficult to find a place open for dinner. The Alt concierge said that Mano Cornuto was pretty much the only place still serving - & I'm so glad to have been introduced to this gem. There was a massive storm which shut down the festival happening at Jean-Drapeau, so people started coming in pretty quickly - but we were sat at the counter & given menus immediately. The pasta bolognese was AMAZING, & the wine pairing was bang-on. I think the biggest surprise was when asking for the bill, just how inexpensive everything was. I'd highly recommend getting a counter seat to watch the kitchen in action - it was a great dinner, & I will happily go back.
Starter was very good (focaccia with burrata & tomatoes) but mains were not great. It was a bit expensive for what you got & annoyingly, there were a lot of flies in the restaurant.
Wife & I ate at the bar. Service was great, food was amazing, & they played my hip hop beats. We will be back next time we visit Montreal & also try the cafe next door.
Absolutely insane food. Everything was so good, service was fast, & I loved the open kitchen concept by the bar so you can watch the chefs cook! The menu is just right-not too many options so as to be overwhelmed, but every dish had its own spin, be it a unique pasta shape or an unexpected flavor profile. We had the burrata with focaccia (10/10), the bolognese, & one of the pesto pasta dishes. The dessert menu was excellent as well, which is not always the case for dinner establishments-we thoroughly enjoyed the pistachio coffee cake & tiramisu with a bit of an orange zest kick. Servers were prompt & friendly.
We came here for a friend's birthday. There can be no complaints about the service, our waiter (Jack) had good intuition about what we wanted & was very pleasant to chat with. The yellow melon pavlova with the mint bits was absolutely to die for- it needs to be a permanent fixture on the menu!
Excellent food! In spite of being so crowded we had very good service. The dessert was to die fo
The food at Mano Cornuto was absolutely amazing, but our experience was significantly marred by the service. Our waitress, Jenna, was incredibly dry & lacked any warmth. A smile wouldn't hurt anyone, & while I understand that people can be tired, it was disappointing to see that other tables received friendly & attentive service while we did not. There was nothing wrong on our part to warrant such treatment. Given the prices, I expected a much higher level of customer service. This experience left a sour taste in an otherwise delightful meal.
I've had two different kinds of sandwiches which are good, but it freaks me out when I see all the flies that are thriving inside the place... Pasta is good but nothing crazy, there are better options out there. Coffee is really good.
Restaurant was mediocre. Apparently all tables only by reservations, however it wasn't that full on a Saturday night & we got seated at the bar. Had antipasti, olives, Caesar salad, swordfish & pesto pasta. Sitting on the bar allowed us to see how the food was cooked & at some point I wish I didn't see it. There was 0 passion in the cooking, food was pretty much tossed around, hands were going in all kinds of containers even the ones that had spoons in them, honestly it was awful to witness. Everything is basically showered in olive oil. Olives were dry & old. Caesar salad didn't have Caesar sauce, it didn't taste like Caesar sauce at all. Swordfish for $36 wasn't fresh & cooked questionably. The pesto pasta was alright, nothing phenomenal. (I'm surprised the reviews are so amazing) The servers were nice though. All around the food was nothing special, the vibe was nice to suggest it's a good restaurant, however after seeing how the food was prepared & tasting it, I can't even give 3 stars.
Wow! The food. The service. The ambiance. 10/10. Laurent is the ABSOLUTE best!!! Look at the effort put in to taking our group photo!! Exquisite experience. Can't wait to come back over & over again! Thank you Mano team. #nonotes
Un nouveau classique. Plats intéressants, bons, portions raisonnables, excellent service. Bons cocktails & bons mocktails. Finalement un endroit à recommander à Montréal.
Simple food made delicious. You can taste the freshness in every dish. They do have a small menu but all the plates were excelent. The chocolate hazelnut cake is an absolute must. Best dessert I've ever had.
A super cool little place & it makes me proud that Canada has chill places like this. It's somewhere you go if you're a cool hip guy. Will definitely go back because I'm a cool person even though the raw scallops were inedibly off. Amazing pistachio cake.
