Beautiful & vibey bistro in Old Montreal! They focus on healthy food choices, great salads, soups & drinks/smoothies. I enjoyed my salad so much, good price for value. Staff is really friendly, too!
I used to regularly order from this place. The prices are on the higher side but would somehow make up for it by good quality ingredients & taste. Now, out of nowhere, the portion size has drastically reduced & I don't think I would buy from here going forward with already inflated prices & smaller portion sizes.
I ordered a habibi salad & added avocado, egg, tuna & extra dressing. It cost me roughly additional 18$ through Uber Eats. They added NONE of those toppings but still charged me for it. I don't understand how you can make that mistake. It's ok to miss maybe 1 additional topping but not to include any of them…they must be doing it on purpose. Avoid!
I really love salads so I was drawn to this'gourmet salad' location that reviews had raved about.
For roughly $17, it's certainly expensive for a salad but comparable to the prices outside these days.
Highlights:
A. the dressing. I wasn't expecting much but I agree now with others that it is quite the standout! More than sufficient & complemented the salad very well.
B. The avocado - generous portion (a quarter or half) & perfectly ripe & creamy.
C. Crunchy noodles - added texture to the salad
Areas of Improvement:
A. Had added extra sweet potato. Can't tell from the photo but they weren't very generous with the addition despite paying an extra amount to this. Was also diced so small I didn't really even notice it in the salad. Would personally skip the additions again if I knew.
B. No utensils or napkins in the bag. Luckily I was able to find another place that offered me that but normally it's offered already in the sealed takeout bag.
C. Lettuce size - agree with what someone else had said. It was a rather big leaf to eat sometimes & wish it was just a bit more refined.
Nice restaurant vibe inside. Would love to try dining in next time again.
After a long day at work, I popped in for a quick bite & was offered a $5 glass of wine, which they said is available every day after 4pm. What a score! Shout out to Kelly for suggesting a wonderful wine to complement my meal. Her service was incredible, & I can't wait to pop in again soon.
Cosy & charming. Very fresh, tasty & delicious salads. I recommend the Shakti smoothie as well. & they were so kind to ask if we wanted the salad dressing mixed in or on the side. & they pre-split both our salads to make it easier to share! Can't recommend enough.

Deuxième fois que ça arrive & franchement, ça devient ridicule. J'ai toujours commandé cette soupe, elle était excellente… & maintenant, c'est juste immangeable. La première fois, tous les pois chiches étaient brûlés & pour camoufler, ils ont mis de l'eau dedans. & là, commande en ligne… exactement la même catastrophe. À ce niveau, ce n'est même plus du service client, c'est de l'irrespect pur. Sérieusement, si vous ne pouvez pas servir quelque chose de correct, annulez la commande au lieu de nous faire ça. Inadmissible.
That's it; I've had it! I'm a regular lunch customer working nearby. I always pre-order & pre-pay. This location is *systematically* a minimum of 15 minutes late of the predicted time. Today, I waited 21 minutes after announcing myself & my order. My colleague, who pre-ordered 1 minute after I did, had her order ready upon arrival. You made my colleagues & I miss 2/3 of our lunch break, again.
Your inability to manage your line has a real impact to your customers.
Your salads are delicious but if I don't have opportunity to eat it in peace, what's the point.
