As always, since we enjoyed the terrasse here a few years ago, we enjoyed last night immensely, feeling treated, with cooking & quality of ingredients a cut above for generosity & freshness, & the considerate, timely service of Kevin. The wine list does not disappoint. On the Table d'hôte we enjoyed the crab cakes, as good as at any beach resort, with a thin crispy crust, & the thin-crust pizza made in a traditional wood-fired oven, with a request accommodated for using blue cheese instead of the goat cheese for my husband. (It was similar to my favorite Francesca pizza on the à la carte menu.) The house-made tiramisu is a very generous portion, & does not exclude any traditional ingredients like the liqueur. The mascarpone was smooth & rich, the lady finger cookies fresh & delicious. Our birthday guest received a festive sparkler & we sang happy birthday. If you'd like to celebrate, or simply feel too tired to cook dinner, or want a lunch treat, try Le Vieux Four. I am SO happy for this discovery, & was reluctant to share, in case reservation space disappeared! It is now our "go to" spot, & EVERY service person's genuine attentiveness is really rare today, with such good food, from savory veal, to pizza, crispy, hot calamari or the arancini, try everything, you won't be sorry!!!! Worth every $.
Les pizzas sont vraiment très bonnes ! Je recommande une 3 fromages sans jambon & le tiramisu 🤩 Le chef pizzaolo Ahmed & le serveur Matt nous ont très bien servis. Nous reviendrons !
Food was very enjoyable. Had the tortellini gigi & a pizza. This place is a must try if you're craving Italian food.
Always a good place to go. Never been disappointed. The wood oven pizza there is incredibly good!

C'est toujours un plaisir de se rendre au vieux four, leurs pizzas sont vraiment délicieuses. Véronique, nous met à l'aise & nous fait nous sentir comme à la maison.
Bonjour. Toujours un accueil agréable. De l'entrée au dessert tout est parfait. Le personnel est vraiment à l'écoute & connaît bien le menu. Toujours avec le sourire & politesse, le service A1. Une bonne carte des vins. Restaurant très propre. Moi je prends toujours des pâtes & elles sont al dentées. La pizza tellement savoureuse. Prix très compétitifs. Le vin est au même prix que dans les autres restaurants. Vous ne serez jamais déçu. Nous y allons à tout les mois. Bonne continuation & merci encore pour les moments agréables.
Excellent wood oven pizza! Crisp yet soft. Very tasty! I always couple it up with the pear salad...heavenly!!!!!

Depuis la réservation - malgré tous les changements que nous y avons apportés- facile à faire & à modifier ... Ensuite notre serveur, KEVIN ! Un jeune homme souriant, agréable & qui cherche à vous faire plaisir... & la pizza ( je prends toujours la Caparina avec extra fromage de chèvre) légèrement rehaussée d'huile piquante ... A mon avis la meilleure pizza à Montréal & elle est à la hauteur - sinon mieux- que la majorité des pizzas de Rome !!!

Excellentes pizza au four dans le West Island. À goûter aux quatres sortes pour trouver notre meilleur ! C'est succulent ! Ambiance familière bien accueillante. Service impeccable & amicale. Merci à Claudette qui a su nous suggérer des mets! Merci au jeune qui a amené mon sac oublié à la table ! On y reviendra c'est sûr !
Ce jour, take out pizza 27 Erico. Pate cuite feu de bois, tomates & oignons tres bons. Mais saucisse italienne & champignons bien cachés sous le fromage...? A revoir avec une autre pizza. Il y a 2 ans... Meme en take out covid, toujours excellentes pizzas feu de bois! & allez chercher votre pizza en personne... pour l'ambiance du four a bois, & l'accueil de Manago, a la livraison & au four!

La nourriture n'était pas assez chaude po.ur la pizza & les escaloppes. J'aime beaucoup ce resto mais c'est très bruyants pour parle
Honestly, no kidding: there is not a bad choice to make on this wonderful restaurant's menu. I used to go more frequently when I was employed by pharma companies in close driving proximity. But I hadn't been in a while & I am happy to report their quality of food is still topnotch. They have been in business here for 28 years (I asked the manager how long they've been open when I was there yesterday) & with the usual whiplash speed most other West Island restaurants last, this is not a negligible fact. I swear, each of their pizzas (fired up in their infamous wood burning oven), pastas (think fettuccini Gigi, & absolutely any of their options) salads (think best Caesar ever, or candied pears), tartares (salmon, beef, so fresh), table d'hôte, best tiramisu anywhere....seriously no possibility for a bad choice. Yes the prices have raised as with all restaurants with our current economy. But that's everywhere. So on that level playing field, this restaurant is not just for West Island résidents. It's for,food lovers everywhere. Forgot to say they are generous with their portions & offer up containers for taking home seamlessly. Come on!
It was my first visit, & I thought it was fine. The food was good, but not particularly memorable. The salads were fresh & delicious, but the escargots were totally overdone. Our pasta dishes were perfectly fine, but also didn't stand out in any way. The pizza was very good. They did a decent job with the cocktails. The service was adequate, but our server forgot one dish, got another one wrong, & was visibly distracted when we placed our orders & asked questions. I'd be willing to go back, but overall this was a middling experience.

Our waitress was great she had a large party beside our table at the same time & she made it feel seamless.
The food was once again great the veal was excellent the pizza we ordered as an appetizer was amazing.
