Came here for the first time with my boyfriend after visiting from Toronto & I have to say the service & food were incredible. Ariane (the blonde lady) was absolutely amazing, her recommendations were spot on! (We did the beef kebab & sea bream as our mains). Truly exceptional service & she definitely made it an unforgettable experience for me. As someone who likes collecting souvenirs, she even let me keep the postcard that came with the bill which was such a lovely little touch. The team at Mama C should be lucky to have her. I was mind blown by the food as well, compliments to the chef. Although, I am only visiting for the weekend I can not wait to come back & visit solely for this restaurant :)Voir plus

Great place , delicious foods, but one of the servers was a little obnoxious trying to tell that the fish that I ordered was a hundred dollars fish . I didn't ask for the price, I replied.

Cuisine raffinée mais très très salée. On a renvoyé les frites parce que c'était plutôt du sel au frites. On nous en a rapporté... largement autant salées.
C'est un peu dommage de ne pas faire attention à la santé des clients en mettant des grandes quantités de sel en 2025

Mama C is a beautifully appointed restaurant with excellent service. However, that is the end of the good news. The food is less than average & terribly overpriced for what you get. In addition, the very annoying music makes the dining experience unpleasant. There are many, many excellent restaurants in Montreal but Mama C should not be included on that list.

The food was very good, portions a bit small for my liking but overall it was a good experience. The atmosphere is good & the decor amazing. Where I had an issue is the service. We were a group of 7 people, the bill was over 1000$ & yet somehow got openly pressed by the staff that our « time » is almost up. I understand that they reserve the table for up to 2h & you have to leave afterwards but it was the first time that I order an additional portion of lamb chops & the answer from the server was « let me check with the kitchen if they can make it quick, because your time is almost up ». Found it profoundly disrespectful & sort of ruined the whole experience. After all, the restaurant business is also about hospitality not only filling up plates.Voir plus

An absolute must if you visit Montreal. We stayed at Nelligan Hotel & had the absolute pleasure of dining here multiple times with our family/ group. At breakfast the staff was attentive, kind & just wonderful to us & our son. It always felt so calm & relaxed.
The food is also to die for. In the evening the vibe is completely different very lively, trendy & cool. Their cocktails (wow) & fries, meatballs were a hit! The restaurant is absolutely gorgeous as well. We encountered at least 10 different staff members day- night & the consistency in kindness & hospitality is above & beyond. Fabulous team!Voir plus

Je recommande fortement ce restaurant. La nourriture était fraîche & savoureuse. Les plats que j'avais choisis ont pour la plupart satisfait ma palette.
J'ai adoré le côté élégant, chaleureux mais à la fois intime du décor. Le personnel était attentif à mes demandes.

From the moment I started seeing all the TikTok's I've been wanting to come try the spanakopita salad & it did not disappoint. Our waitress Kim also gave us some amazing recommendations like the pastitio. She was always right there checking up on us making sure everything was to our liking. Fabulous dinner, sashimi was delicious, but the octopus wasn't our favourite (over cooked & interesting flavour combo). But the whole fish special & the lemon potato's are a must. Would come again to try more items on the menu. Expensive but tasty.Voir plus
