Modern Greek restaurant with a refined take on classic dishes. The food was consistently good, with a contemporary twist rather than strictly traditional preparations. Service was fast & friendly. The wine list is thoughtfully curated & pairs well with the menu. While it's somewhat on the expensive side, it's mostly justified. Standout dishes for me were the pastitsio & the roasted aubergine. Overall, a solid choice for Greek food.

Le restaurant était presque vide à notre arrivée. On nous propose une table en plein milieu de la salle pas très confortable & on demande à voir un booth. On nous répond que les booth sont réservés & qu'il faut le faire à l'avance mais ce n'est mentionné nulle part sur le site & cela ne nous a pas été dit au moment où on a « téléphoné » pour la réservation. Comment le savoir si c'est notre première fois? Donc déjà la on part d'un mauvais pied. Cependant ils ont pu nous trouver un compromis.
La nourriture était bonne. Cependant le service était extrêmement lent. 30 minutes entre chaque plat. On a fini par se lasser & nous qui voulions des desserts avons fini par ne plus en commander. De plus le serveur était assez snob. On dirait qu'il nous servait juste parce qu'il n'avait pas le choix. Il nous avait profilé & c'était fait un avis (négatif) sur nous donc c'est limité au minimum syndical. Si il a avait pu refuser de nous servir, franchement je pense qu'il l'aurait fait. Le couple de bobo à la table à côté par contre a eu droit au grand jeu. On a fini le repas & on attendu plus de 20 minutes les factures alors qu'on le voyait d'où on était assis & qu'il ne semblait pas particulièrement occupé. Il s'en foutait juste de nous. C'était assez méprisant. Oui, la nourriture était bonne, mais pas assez pour compenser pour le service dédaigneux & assez discriminatoire que nous avons reçu.

Gorgeous spot for a birthday or work dinner. The food was pretty good. I ordered the kebab plate & I'm not sure if it was supposed to be cold but it was. The chicken is way better so def order that instead. Drinks were great can't complain. Service at reception & at the table was great too. Would come again but it is on the pricier side.

We stumbled across Mama C by accident & oh my goodness it was some of the best food I've ever had. My boyfriend & I go to Greece a lot & he being Greek is very particular about authentic Greek food. The food blew our mind. We got the Greek salad, full sea bass with air of beets. My boyfriend never eats vegetables & he raved about the roasted beets. They were amazing, & the fish was spectacular. He even went back to the chef to personally compliment him on the beets!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Also the staff is wonderful & very kind. Can't wait to go back once I'm in Montreal again.

Mama C is an absolute gem. The food is consistently delicious, comforting, & thoughtfully prepared, with flavours that feel both elevated & soulful. Every dish is made with care, & you can truly taste the quality of the ingredients. I keep going back for the grilled octopus & grilled fish. They are able to accommodate all my dietary needs without even raising an eyebrow.
Beyond the food, the atmosphere is warm, inviting, & unpretentious-the kind of place you want to return to again & again. The service is friendly, attentive, & genuine, making the entire experience feel effortless & welcoming.
Mama C strikes that rare balance between neighbourhood favourite & destination-worthy restaurant. A must-visit in Montréal, whether for a casual meal or a special moment shared around great food.

The restaurant has a really nice interior design, & I loved the ambience. Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy the matcha latte-it mostly tasted like milk & not much like matcha. I should've ordered a regular latte instead.

Decor was beautiful, chill with a tint of luxury. Did love the waiter's uniform. Changed from the regular black we see in all other restaurants.

The food was DELICIOUS. Honestly everything we ordered tasted so good & was so fresh. The grilled octopus HIT the spot, the free range chicken was juicy & so tasty & the lamb… listen, you just gotta go & try it for yoursel!! ⭐?⭐?⭐?
SERVICE 9'5/10
I only took out 0.5 because it seems that it was a busy night & our server was responsible for multiple tables which sometimes caused longer wait times for us to get his attention but that's not something YLIAN could control. He was wonderful from beginning to end, really chill vibe & demeanor & making sure he wasn't hovering over us. We did get a chance to have a nice conversation with him at the end of the night & he is a lovely young man! Wishing him the best in his future plans.
VALET 5/10
We found a parking when we arrived on the next street but used the valet service to make sure the car would be moved to the front of the restaurant whenever possible. It wasn't so we essentially paid to have our car parked where we left it the whole night & brought to us at the end of the night - we could have walked. 😅
All in all, I would go back cause I want to try everything on the menu!

Le service était impeccable! Un grand merci à Camel & sa formidable équipe. Le bagel saumon fumé est délicieux, tout comme le granola & le smoothie Berry Booster. Le décor est splendide, on se croirait dans un café nordique de Copenhague. On recommande chaleureusement!

Six of us went for dinner on New Year's Day while on a quick trip from Toronto. We already had high expectations for this restaurant, but it completely exceeded them. Nicki was an exceptional server & struck the perfect balance of attentiveness, personality, & professionalism. He walked us through the menu, helped curate our experience, & offered spot on recommendations. Honestly, Nicki's service alone is reason enough to visit.
The food was flavourful, fresh, & beautifully balanced with comforting, familiar flavours & modern twists. It more than lived up to the menu descriptions & beyond. This will absolutely be a must visit spot anytime we are in Montreal.
Thank you Nicki for ending our trip on such a high & bringing so many laughs to our dinner!!

Cute brunch spot. Service is great. Dining room is stunning. Good selection of dishes on the brunch menu, but all we had was coffee, a croissant & the Greek yogurt dish. Will probably come back for dinner.

Stepping into Mama C, you are immediately met with a sophisticated, high-energy atmosphere that sets the stage for a premium evening. The service is impeccable-warm, attentive, & genuinely professional. We sampled the curated four-course shared menu; while the volume of food is immense, the flavors are generally outstanding. Aside from a slightly over-salted Moussaka & a thin final meat course, the meal was a testament to quality Mediterranean-inspired cuisine. For a complete experience, their classic cocktails are a must-try. This is a true destination for foodies & those celebrating special occasions.

Exceptional from start to finish. Shoutout to the sous chef & our waitress Melissa. Try the fish of the day, the beat salad, & the Greek salad. The 12-month Assyrtiko was a 10/10.

Overall, my experience wasn't good. From the beginning, our waiter was rude & disrespectful & made us feel undervalued. When I said I didn't like my drink, he smirked & said,'So what do you want to do with it?'
At the end, there was also a billing issue: he split my order across other people's bills instead of charging it to me. When I pointed it out, he said fixing it would take about 20 minutes, in the same unhelpful tone. Very disappointing service.

Amazing experience at Mama C Restaurant!
The space is beautiful & very welcoming, & the food & coffee were really good. We had a great time there with my parents who were visiting from Mexico.
Basil, our server, was very friendly & attentive. He took the time to explain the dishes in spanish to my family-especially my parents, who don't speak any English-& his recommendations were excellent. That made the whole experience feel relaxed & enjoyable.
My brother & I own a Mexican café in downtown Toronto, so we truly appreciate good food & genuine hospitality. I'd definitely recommend this place if you're visiting the area.

While the atmosphere was high class & the servers well trained, the combination of inappropriately chosen music alongside greatly subpar meals, the likes of which you could find superior renditions of at any other 4-star restaurant, surely left something to be desired.

Fantastic brunch saved by a great waiter, despite a rocky start.
We came here for brunch & the food did not disappoint. Everything was delicious & the Bloody Caesar was top-notch.
I have to mention that the arrival experience was rough; the host was not welcoming & we felt like an inconvenience. We almost left, but our waiter, Xavier, redeemed the experience entirely. He was incredibly friendly & proactive, checking on availability & offering alternatives when needed.
