Best restaurant in Montreal. It could easily be a great restaurant in Athens, Mykonos, any place in Greece. The atmosphere, the service & music are classy & the dishes are an excellent modern interpretation of traditional Greek recipes.

If you're looking for a memorable dining experience in Old Montreal, Mama C Restaurant is an excellent choice. The restaurant offers a beautiful, upscale atmosphere that's perfect for a date night, celebration, or a special evening out. The Mediterranean-inspired menu is full of fresh, flavorful dishes that are beautifully presented, & every bite reflects the quality of the ingredients.

The service was warm, attentive, & professional, making the entire experience feel effortless from start to finish. The cocktails were expertly crafted, & the overall ambiance struck the perfect balance between elegant & welcoming. While it's on the pricier side, the quality of the food, service, & atmosphere makes it well worth the visit. I would happily return & highly recommend Mama C to anyone looking for one of the best dining experiences in Old Montreal.

The atmosphere is beautiful, but unfortunately the service completely ruined the experience for me.

From the beginning, the server was unusually pushy & made multiple unnecessary comments throughout the evening that made me genuinely uncomfortable. I had clearly explained that I was on a calorie deficit & asked what lighter options he would recommend. After recommending a few dishes himself, he still continued insisting that what we ordered was'only appetizers' & repeatedly pushed for more food, even after it was obvious we were satisfied with what we had ordered.

What made the experience worse was the attitude behind the comments. There was a very condescending & mocking tone throughout the interaction, especially regarding my food & drink choices. Instead of simply taking the order & letting guests enjoy their evening, there were repeated remarks & expressions that felt judgmental & intrusive.

A server should never make guests feel embarrassed or self-conscious about what they choose to eat or not eat. Whether a table orders a full dinner or just a few dishes & drinks should not affect the quality of the service or the way guests are treated.

The food itself was fine, although the grilled calamari arrived cold. But overall, the lack of tact & professionalism from the service left a really unpleasant impression.

Went there for a dinner the food was really amazing & tasty! Raja was really helpful with the choices of the dishes & his good energy made the experience even better!

Great experience with a delicious lunch menu. We reserved a table for 15 people to celebrate a colleague's retirement. The experience from completing the reservation up until the end of meal was great. Melissa was very nice & took time to explain the menu.
The fish of the day was one of the best fish dishes we've ever had!
