I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious - every dish was fresh, flavorful, & beautifully presented. The ambience was warm & inviting, making it a perfect place to relax & enjoy a great meal.
A special shoutout to our server, Chloe, who made the experience even better. She was friendly, attentive, & very professional throughout our visit. Her service truly elevated our dining experience.
Highly recommend this place! Will definitely be coming back. 🍽✨

Tried THE MAMA C EXPERIENCE (125$ per person)'a four-course culinary journey with 6 to 8 shared plates showcasing some of their finest offerings.'
Honestly, it was way too much food. Some dishes were good, others were delicious. Unfortunately, the thin steak at the end didn't do it for me, but overall, the food was solid. We also had a couple of vodka martinis & Old Fashioneds, which were very good.
This is a high-end restaurant, so expect pricey dishes & dress nicely. The ambiance is pretty nice & the clientele is classy.
Service was great as well.

An amazing restaurant located in a renovated hotel, hotel Nellygan in old downtown Montreal. Amazing decoration, amazing ambience & the first drink at the bar.
We had some delicious dishes to share all of them with a great presentation & super nyami & then sea bass as a second, which was tasty, fresh & exquisite. We share 2 super tasty desserts that leave us without words. Definitely a place to go back again.

L'endroit est très beau. Cependant, le service était très long : car je cite « nous pensions ne plus avoir de burger, mais finalement nous en avons retrouver » : à croire qu'ils étaient cachés au fond du congèlo… Avant cela, nous avons attendu 45minutes pour commander. Aucun geste n'a été effectué. Nous ne reviendrons pas.

Heard amazing things about this place from friends, but our experience was rough. Service was super slow - took over 20 minutes just to have the waitress come see us for cocktails & then another 15 to receive them. I really don't mind waiting - however the waitress did not apologize once. We were told we'd get a portion & a half since we were a group of eight, but that never happened, so we left still hungry. It also took about 20 minutes just for our waitress to split the bill at the end. Overall, really disappointed but the restaurant atmosphere is nice at least!

I'll start off by saying I think the food was great, very fresh & the meat was cooked perfectly. However besides the taste of the food, I would say everything else was subpar. The service was extremely slow. It took us almost an hour from the time we were seated to get our drinks. We also had to ask to have our water glasses refilled multiple times. Then it was more than an hour between the two services. We were told that we would only be able to order once since they don't let you order multiple times when it's busy, so when I ordered for the table (group of 8) the waitress ensured it was enough for all of us. However when the food came, we literally each got 1 bite of each dish. They also did not have the size of fish we ordered in stock so they brought us a smaller one which was way too small for our group. Then when it came time to pay the bill we asked her to split it evenly between 6 of us (it was 2 friends birthday so we paid their part of the bill). However when the 6 bills came, they were all different prices. To make it easier I just said put it on one bill & we will split it ourselves. Then when she brings the bill back it is the longest bill I've ever seen. She said she could only fix the bill (to have each item listed only once) by cancelling the order & re-entering it so I said ok please do that so it's easier for us to split after. She then says she doesn't want to & won't do that because it'messes up her stats'… very strange answer… honestly for the price I would not recommend

We enjoyed our lamb dishes, roasted beets & more but despite a minor setback. I guess we were expecting Greek authenticity when ordering Paprika Fries with'Mizithra' cheese. Our friend having just come back from Greece called it. When we asked them they brought some jarred Parmesan??

Mamac is truly one of the best restaurants in Montreal. Everything is thoughtfully planned, & the staff is incredibly friendly & attentive. They offer a wide range of options & great suggestions to help you choose. The steak was perfectly cooked, & you can even watch the team prepare the fish for you - no need to do it yourself! Make sure to try the octopus - it's tender & full of flavor - & their fresh, delicious salads. & whatever you do, don't skip the desserts - they're absolutely not to be missed! A top-tier dining experience from start to finish.

First off, I want to say 5 stars aren't enough for the incredible hospitality & service Nikita provided for us tonight. From the very beginning, we were met with warmth, personality & professionalism. The wine was exquisite, the food was even better, & the ambience was undefeated. We are not from Montreal, but we will be visiting again specifically to dine at Mama C under Nikita's exquisite care. Merci beaucout from Vancouver.

Je ne recomand pas le octopus, trop cher ,trop petit, & froid aussi sur un pad de humus
Le calamar grille ce bon mais il manque de saveur
La Marguerite cocktail je ne le recomand pas

Très beau restaurant, ambiance feurrée & élégante, excellent service! Parfait pour souligner une occasion spéciale. Mais surtout, c'est tellement bon! Nous avons essayé le plateau de fruits de mer: frais & délicieux. La serveuse, Clara, nous a également suggéré plusieurs succulents mezze & un excellent vin. C'était ma deuxième fois & j'étais contente de pouvoir faire découvrir cet endroit à mon fils. Cette 2e fois fût aussi extraordinaire que la première. Certainement un de nos restos préférés. Merci à tous pour la belle soirée.

We weren't staying at the hotel but walked past & were so happy we stopped for breakfast, amazing decor, amazing food, really good value for money & the service (thanks Melissa!) was fantastic, they took our coats at the door!

I honestly don't understand why this place is only rated 4.4 as it deserves so much higher! I'll admit, I was hesitant to come after reading some of the reviews, but I'm so glad I did. I brought a client here, & we ended up ordering almost everything on the menu - every single dish was outstanding.
The octopus was perfectly seasoned & juicy, the moussaka was beautifully done, the Greek salad was fresh, & even the beef mignon was incredibly tender. The service, staff, decor, & ambiance were all impeccable.
I'll definitely be coming back with friends & clients alike. If you're reading this, don't let the online rating fool you, go try it for yourself. You won't be disappointed!
