Very attentive & friendly staff, although obviously not happy when they did not get the 15% tip. Sorry guys, we were on a budget, nothing wrong with your service. Food was OK, already on the cold side when it was served . I found the pastitsio too deconstructed & too modern take for my liking, sorry chef. The beef kebab though was delicious.
All the touted restaurants were reserved for the evening so we walked to the western end of Rue de St Paul & we saw Mama C (which was not marked on our map of restaurants). It too was booked but we were offered seats at the bar which is usually our favorite being'ring side' to all the action & the personalized service which Antonni the bar tender with his wizardry mixing drink orders & Alima our server richly provided. Her recommendations suited our palates to the T including the delicious wine from Macedonia! to pair with my Mousaka while my wife ordered the grilled octopus. Both were delicious flavorful. Alima suggested the pita with a delicious dip of creamy dip flavored with a drizzle of juice from fish eggs as an appetizer - an unexpected treat. Servers like Alima with her easy efficient friendly manner & ready humor set the tone for a fine evening. Then the artfully designed ambience with the soft music all made our evening at Mama C a special time. Highly recommended.
i went for the first time to Mama C & the restaurant is beautiful. we had amazing service from Ian & Amelie, with great food selection. definitely a place i would recommend :)
The restaurant was beautiful. The service was incredible, Jason, Hugo & Ian took good care of us. They made a few recommendations & were very honest when they thought we might be ordering too much. Thank you guys, every was spot on with the dishes! Definitely

C'est rare que je prends le temps de faire un review, mais j'ai vraiment eu une expérience incroyable au Mama C. Sans équivoque la meilleur bouffe grecque que j'ai mangé de ce côté de l'Atlantique, l'ambiance est cool, & le service est impeccable. J'ai été servis par Hugo & son équipe de serveurs & ils ont pris le temps de me faire découvrir le menu & d'agencer avec la carte de vin (qui est aussi bonne que le menu!). À visiter absolument Benjamin
I rarely rate anything but this place is worth letting people know. First off the food was amazing & for once the shared plates were huge (more than 2 small eaters). I love the quality of the seafood (seafood tower) & the other dishes i tried from my friends plates. What made me really fall in love with the place was the service, good foood can be found relatively easily but excellent service is another story. The waiters were very nice & the manager Hugo Cayer that was assisting at the table were excellent. I was surprised that someone high up actually bothered to show up at our table & make sure everything was great even if we didn't have any issues. I hope you have as much of a great experience as me when you go
Belle découverte du nouveau & tres beau restaurant grecque dans le vieux port. Poulpe, sashimi de bar, moussaka...c'était excellent mais ce qui est un plus c'est le service A1 d'Hugo & Ian. Merci pour l'accueil, nous reviendrons

Amazing vibes with even better food! Restaurant was full house when we went. For a new restaurant, service went as smooth as one can hope for. Huge shoot out to Hugo the manager for making sure everyone at our table was happy & that everything came out on time. Our waiter Ian was also amazing & Alima made us amazing cocktails. Can't wait to go back & try more of their delicious menu.

Pretty much like the what everyone is saying, beautiful place love the decor. *The food was tasty but very pricey & when u order the fish 🐟 doesn't come with No rice or vegetables on the dish. *You need to add a side dish . ($) The portions are a decent size. I'm happy I got to try the restaurant once , but it's nothing to die for. I wouldn't say OMG I want to come eat here every week. The hostesses was very professional, excellent service. 🤩 I saw a waiter pickup dirty glasses by hands & not on a tray. Not professional. * unfortunately in front of the restaurant there's Big construction 🚧, & not easy to find parking. I suggest arrive with taxi or Uber or park in the hotel. Or valet parking.
Recently, my friends & I had the pleasure of dining at a new Greek restaurant nestled in the heart of Old Montreal, right under a famous hotel. From the moment we stepped inside, we were enveloped by the restaurant's stunning decor & vibrant atmosphere. The combination of traditional Greek elements & modern design created an inviting space that truly set the stage for an enjoyable evening. The service was top-notch throughout our visit. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, & eager to share recommendations, which added a personal touch to our dining experience. It's always nice when the staff genuinely care about making your meal memorable. As for the menu, while there were several enticing options to choose from, we did find ourselves wishing for a broader selection typical of a Greek restaurant. Unfortunately, some of the dishes we had our hearts set on were unavailable that night, which was a slight disappointment. Nonetheless, the food we did order was well-prepared & flavorful, showcasing the rich culinary heritage of Greece. While we can't wait to return & explore more of the menu, we did find the prices to be on the high side, which might make frequent visits a little challenging. However, the combination of the enchanting atmosphere, attentive service, & delicious food makes it a worthwhile experience for special occasions or a delightful night out in Old Montreal. Overall, I highly recommend giving this restaurant a visit. With its charming ambiance & great service, it has all the makings of a promising new spot in the city!
After a very busy & stressful night, the staff at the hotel Nelligan & Mama C took such good care of us. Their attention to detail & care for clients are unmatched. The food is excellent & the staff is so kind. The chocolate croissant & lattes are my personal favorite, but you cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. Could not recommend them enough! ❤️
