Merveilleuse découverte. Nous avons d'abord été charmés par le décor moderne & chaleureux. Le service est impeccable. Beaucoup de personnel, attentionné & présent sans être envahissant. Une mention pour l'excellente prestation de Basil qui était aux petits soins & nous a bien conseillé de même qu'à la sommelière. Les mets sont raffinés & copieux. Tout est savoureux particulièrement la tyropita croustillante, la pieuvre & les trempettes. Bref une soirée parfaite. Si le prix est substantiel, c'est mérité pour cette escapade grecque d'une soirée.

Forgettable
Nous avons été attirés par le décor & la note sur Maps. L'accueil était très bien mais aussitôt assis on a compris que ce n'était que de l'apparence. La table nous arrivait à la poitrine & nous étions fort distants.
J'ai pris le toast à l'avocat avec oeufs pochés (2) c'était un beau plat en apparence à son arrivée mais ce n'était qu'un avocat tranché sur une tranche de pain sans aucune saveur & beaucoup trop d'avocat. Pas d'épices ou d'arômes. Il y avait de petits poivrons en dessous heureusement. J'ai pris le jus vert qui était très bien sans plus.
Mon conjoint a pris une omelette & un chocolat chaud tous deux très ordinaires.
Loved the classy, high-end decor & lighting, sets the tone for an elevated dining experience. The ambiance is warm & inviting, with amazing vibes that make it perfect for a night out.

The octopus was amazing, but the shrimp & orzo dish was our favorite. The sea bass tartare was fresh & delicious. We had the chocolate tart with pistachios, ice cream & beautiful lattes to end what was a truly phenomenal meal. Other people were talking about how amazing the lamb is, so we will have to go back to try that. Even the asparagus we ordered was charred to perfection with a citrus sauce, sprinkled with feta... Truly delicious!
The decor is beautiful & made up of marble & leather. We sat at an amazing table that looked out on a beautiful street in the heart of the old Port. All around us were little intimate places which are perfect for working or romance.
But it is the staff that take the experience to another level. Working together as a seamless team, everyone from the valet to the waiter & waitresses to the chef were attentive & kind.
We had a fabulous time from beginning to end. Truly a wonderful experience.
La décoration de Mama C est exceptionnelle & correspond aux standards du Vieux-Port, c'est-à-dire moderne & presque luxueux. La musique est agréable en arrière-fond. La nourriture goûter par mes invités étaient exceptionnelles. Lorsque des clients vous reviennent avec cette mention, c'est excellent pour notre entreprise. Enfin, le professionnalisme des serveuses était à la hauteur & le manager (ou propriétaire) était un passionné avec un effort fait pour nous servir en français. Somme toute, le restaurant est exceptionnel. Je le recommande pour des rencontres professionnelles.
The restaurant decor is stunning. Very elegant & classy.
The food was delicious. We were a bug party, therefore had to take the group menu. It's a little pricy but were had 4 services & the amount of food were more than enough. My favorite dishes were the Seabass fish & the shrimp orzo. The salads & the cervice were great. However, some of the dishes were a little salty.
The service was amazing. The waiters even withdrawn the fishbones!
For a special occasion, it is a nice restaurant to try it out.

100% recommend, the food is fresh & very flavourful, the service is great , very nice decor too. The Dorad Sashimi was fantastic just like everything else.
Restaurant has a modern decor & feel. Going in, you feel fancy with all the well dressed old-port patrons.
The musical was suttle & a good mix of alternative modern Greek tracks.
Service was great except for a few hiccups. Our wine selection was not available & suggested bottled were +20 or +25. Felt a bit intentional, but we went with it anyway since it was a special occasion. Suggested wine was good.
We had the salad Spanakopita (amazing!). I personally loved it since it dont like cooked spinach. Tyropita had an incredible cheese sauce which was unfortunately overpowered by the truffle oil. Had it been without the oil, itd be perfect. Brought it to the attention of the waitress who explained it's a'something you like or don't like...'. Anyway, the lamp skewer was incredible.
I'm a big hater of pastitsio but GOD that plate was good. Will definitely try to recreate it.
The dessert baklava was amazing. Was refreshing not to have to fight with layers of Phyllis & nuts for once.
Overall it's an incredible experience for Greek food lovers & non. I would recommend for anyone. Just be careful with the tyropita as the truffle oil did overpower any other flavo
I had a fantastic dining experience at this restaurant! The service was exceptional, with our waitress truly attentive & in tune with our preferences. Marie-Claire ( our waitress) explained the menu in detail, making it easy to choose our dishes. The atmosphere was inviting, & the decor was exquisite, adding to the overall charm of the place. I highly recommend this spot date night,friends night out or for anyone looking for a delightful meal & outstanding service!
Loved everything about Mama C! The vibe, the decor, the music-just perfect. The food was 🔥! We had the Spanish salad, moussaka, & the freshest pita straight from the oven,& that mille-feuille with Greek coffee is a must 😋😋Definitely coming back 💙🤍

Had their lunch menu & it was great. I enjoyed the charred octopus & shrimp youvetsi. Orange cake was nice perhaps better in the summer, as it is very refreshing. Yiayia was a nice drink. Service from hostess & servers was friendly & efficient. I wish they had their own bathroom instead of relying on the hotel though. Nice decor.
This place is a real gem. The food is excellent but the service is even better. Melissa & Jimmy were a perfect balance between knowledgeable, friendly & professional. From the moment you're seated you feel welcome. The decor is relaxing & cosy. This is an experience that is worth repeating. I can't wait to go back.
Came here for breakfast, so only judging that. Many reviews are complaining about the price, it is definitely expensive for what you get, but remember the location & decor, they put a lot of money in both, you're also paying for that. If you want to have a meal be a closer price to what the owner paid for the ingredients, you must leave the city. The food was good, however the potatoes & eggs were cold, we were only two people & there was one table sitting next to us, the rest of the restaurant was empty, so no excuse for that. Given the high price, you should be getting warm quality food(quality was there). The host & waitress were very friendly. The waitress brought different juice choices to the table as soon as we sat down, great marketing tactic as it look to good to resist. Coffee & hot chocolate was good too. Message to the owner or manager: You should compensate clients when they have really bad experiences. Simply telling them you hope they'll give you another chance & that you'll share the feedback with the team isn't enough. As a loyal Montreal foodie, I completely lose respect for businesses that give insincere responses. The cost of living is high, & if someone chooses to invest their money in your business, you should show appreciation.
Based off of recommendations online, we were excited to give Mama C a try. First off, the general vibe & decor was stunning. We were so excited to be seated, but the hostess seemed annoyed & generally unpleasant. Our server was nice but seemed like he was in a rush & didn't take the time to explain anything on the menu or any specials. When we asked about the difference between two types of fish (catch of the day, which were not on the menu) all he could say was "one is bigger". We noticed that the pricing for the food was really high, but decided to give it a chance. Cheapest pasta is $42 & salads are $30+. That's fine but it took a while for us to simply order & receive our drinks & food. Our conversation kept getting interrupted by hostesses that were yelling, running around & joking with the servers (who seemed visibly annoyed). Then we noticed the hostesses sat down at the bar to eat while periodically getting up to greet guests. While they were eating, we kept waiting. The food was good but it was not worth the price, especially for abysmal service. The side of lemon potatoes was so sour it ended up being inedible. The main dishes are very plain & don't come with any sides. We ordered a shareable steak for $138 & it was good but very plain - nothing special. This place is a hard pass, especially when there are dozens of incredible restaurants in Montréal.
Amazing! The decor, the service, the food. All amazing. We started with cocktails & wine, followed by more wine. Each drink was delicious. We had the seafood tower. Oysters, shrimp, crab, lobster... plus the bass tartare, another fish I'm forgetting the name of... each item was explained to us in detail along with where they come from (shrimp from Argentina for example). Then onto the second serving, we had pasta, kebab, more fish, tomato salad... everything was so incredibly full of flavor. Major shout out to our server, Kim. She was an absolute delight & so full of knowledge over the cuisine being presented. She even de boned the fish table side with precision. I will most certainly be back. I wish I took food pics, I was too distracted by how delicious everything was
I was impressed by the decor ; stylish with a warm ambiance that set a great tone for the evening. Unfortunately, we waited quite a while for someone to take our order, which was a bit frustrating. When the food finally arrived, it was flavorful but overly salty. Every dish, including the broccolini, had an excessive amount of salt, which made it hard to fully enjoy the flavors.
The food was phenomenal & so was the service. Highly recommend that you make a reservation for this fabulous restaurant. The decor & the ambiance are absolutely outstanding!
