I liked Maison Liang for years. It was good, fresh & you got a good amount of variety & food it was such a good experience alone or with company. The drawback is how expensive it is now. The lunch specials at cheaper prices are small. The whole point of Chinese takeout is quality, variety & qty of food with extras like chopsticks & a fortune cookie
I like the food except for very high salt & MSG. It is just too much for fast food everyday lunch or dinner. Average $19 special for variety with common sides. You don't get a fortune cookie, utensils, chopsticks, extra sauces, napkins with an order. The size of containers changed to half size for more expensive. There is added charges for everything. You can only modify a special with extra charges which changes nothing for the cooks, it's part of customer service to serve customers & take the orders to fullfill. Sometimes they listen if you beg for no salt added & no msg if you order for $50 minimum. But the last time I ordered for around $40 & they did not listen, & I got sick for 7 entire days of hell. I could not cope. I am allergic to MSG & intolerant to salt, & sadly they added it & I got very very ill. I can no longer order because they did not take it seriously sadly which surprised me because other times they listened. Back to making my own Chinese food at home & not enjoy any takeout. If only they took it seriously, I could chance ordering weekly. But I lost trust from last time. Not after what I went through. They need to understand most ppl don't smoke so they don't need such high sodium ( the rice is so salty its crazy), & nobody needs MSG. & ppl really have an allergy to synthetic MSG which is much more elevated in synthetic salt than naturally occurring. If you have smokers for cooks any restaurant is screwed from over salting food. Smokers have dead tastebuds. It's a bad investment for employers. Ppl can add their own salt & don't need MSG or so much salt to enjoy food. The veggie sides are blander & so much better you can taste the vegetables. I like the chow mein & any veggie sides with sprouts. You don't need all that crazy salt. If they listened to customers it would restore trust. Ppl can add their soy sauce no need to make everything salty. Especially when there are other choices available to order from. Keep customers happy or lose business. Go back to the way you were. Use less & it is more. Customers can add their own extra soy sauce if they want.

En arrivant, j'ai stationné à l'arrière, le stationnement était sale & sentait la vieille graisse. Les trois container étaient pleins à craquer, ça sentait pire qu'une chambre de hockey après le dernier match de la semaine. J'imagine qu'en été, ça doit être un spectacle à donner envie de déménager pour les voisins. Mais pour le service, rien à dire ! La fille au comptoir était aussi pro qu'une acrobate du cirque du soleil, aussi polie qu'une grand-mère offrant des tartelettes, pis aussi souriante qu'un enfant qui voit arriver l'père Noël. J'ai passé ma commande, pis une fois de retour chez nous, on a ouvert l'sac (riz frit & pseudo-Chow mein au poulet). Au début, j'ai pensé qu'ils avaient jouer au DJ avec les commandes & fait un mix, parce que le Chow mein ressemblait plus à un chop suey déguisé dans une sauce qui avait l'air d'avoir fait trempette dans le bain. On a décidé de prendre ça relax & d'attaquer. C'est en lisant les avis ici qu'on s'est rendu compte qu'on s'était fait passer un sapin avec notre prétendu Chow mein... C'est vraiment leur version de plat de nouilles sans nouilles. Deuxième problème : le poulet ! Ce poulet-là avait l'air aussi louche qu'un gars qui vend des billets de spectacle dans l'parking, boulli, gonflé à l'eau comme une balle de plage, pis aussi fade qu'un café décaféiné un lundi matin. Je pense qu'on n'a pas besoin d'en dire plus. Personne a été capable d'en manger. On est une gang de quatre, pis c'était plus gênant qu'une chicane de famille au camping. Je donne un 2 grâce au service...

Ordered my #2 & was not really satisfied with the food taste, very ordinary, I picked up the food there was NO packets of soya sauce included sounds unimportant but for the wonton soup it's very important. The only thing i liked was the eggrolls & even that was just ok
