This dim sum spot still uses the classic pushcarts, which adds a nostalgic touch. It's great for browsing dishes before choosing, though the carts don't always make it to our table, so might wait for or miss a certain items. The food was decent & the service was swift once seated, but the weekend line was definitely long.

It's a massive dining hall, we were there for dinner.

Service is passable, inattentive, albeit with kind workers. Food is good, nothing spectacular. It appears common dishes are cooked in batches & brought on carts to the various tables. So this makes for a slow dinner service, especially if you're not getting the commonly ordered dishes. & also results in warm but not hot dishes. Dishes are around 20-25.

Pros: plenty of seats & high chairs. They can host big groups.

I'll return for their dimsum service & see how that fares, I wouldn't return for the dinner on a busier day.

Best dimsum & one of the best Cantonese menus in 514/450.
Awesome varieties & great service. Even though there might be crowds on weekends, the wait times go quickly given how spacious the restaurant is.

This is your typical hong Kong style dimsum restaurant. You dont order from menu but rather there are waitresses pushing around carts full of food & when they get to you, you tell them if you want it or not. The prices are calculated by size ( S,M,L ). Overall, the taste of everything is pretty traditional & theres nothing too special about it. We ordered egg tarts, fried taro balls, ??, ??, ???, & friend squid tentacles. The egg tarts & changfen were the best. I highly recommend the changfen. We went on a random Tuesday & there were so many people, so I can say that this place is quite popular. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for dimsum near montreal.

Update from Feb 2026: Victim of its own popularity, considering that there're very few decent dim sum restaurants in Montreal & surrounding areas, decent restos always have lots of people & long line-up around lunch time. As a result, because of how busy it is, the service is not always great & the waiters can even seem a bit rude at times. When I was ready to pay, I was handed over by 5 different people, & all of them were not very polite when I said I was ready for the bill. So I would rate no more than 2 star for my Feb visit unfortunately.

12/15/2025: We arrived past 2pm on a Sunday & it closes at 3pm their lunch service. There was no wait & the service was quick, to the point of almost rushing us to order everything & then told us to hurry to pay. There's a fine line between efficient & rapid service Vs rushing customers to pay because you need to go for your 3pm late staff lunch break. Would have totally rated them for 1 star for service as they were rushing us if it weren't for a short lady with glasses who was very courteous & kindly apologized & asked us to pay while explaining otherwise there would be nobody to do our bills at the front desk reception because even the front desk reception go for lunch at 3pm 😂😅. So since she explained to us (every other waiter just rushed us to pay without so much as a'please' or'thank you' or without even an explanation) so nicely & was very apologetic, we paid at 2:45pm at her request & writing here to highlight there are some staff with very good attitude here at this restaurant & want to mention some staff does take care of customers. So next time you go to this restaurant, ask to get served by her. The tall guy with glasses, he was quite the opposite compared to this waitress. Make sure you don't sit in his section.

Oh & in this restaurant, not only can you wait for the carts to arrive to you to order from the cart the dim sum, you can also order from the staff directly if you know what you want & they will bring you the food straight from the kitchen ^^. I gave 4 star for this visit.

Good place to experience Chinese American cuisine. I like the large round table, we were 12 & can have conversation.
Food was ok, some dishes better than others.
I liked the eggplants, the Shanghai noodles, the dim sum.
Broccoli & beef so so, the fish so so.
Average was good we had a good time.

Dim Sum is good, many choices but service is terrible. We ordered on-line & there was always confusion with the order through Fan Tuan. We always had to wait, to argue, very annoying !!
They have to correct this problem with Fan Tuan because they are losing customers.

2025-05-05: Much better now!
Dim Sum: food is good! Service is fast!

2024-05-29: a little bit of improvement, but I can't find the chinese wok taste here! The big chef has retired & the new one is still learning.

2023-09-01: The biggest chinese reception restaurant in South Shore (Brossard). But, food is no longer as good as it used to be.

Best dim sum in montreal area. Its packed at all the peak times but the good news ... the place is huge. Service is great. Food is delicious & the selection is top notch. I love to visit dim sum places whenever I travel. I have been to China, Hong Kong, new York, San Francisco & many spots in between & kam fung stands up with the best on a few dishes. I recommend the sui Mei & the sticky rice. The fried dumplings & squid are also delicious. Ask for extra hot sauce & some hot mustard to clean out the system 😋 ... some like it hot 🔥 ... ##spicyadventuresKTOWN #jackbrown9120 tell them I sent you & win a prize 🏆 ... 🐉 🐲 ❤? 🏄?♂? 💃 🕺
