Restaurant Maison Indian Curry, located in Parc-Extension, offers both North and South authentic Indian cuisine. South Indian cuisine is rice based. Rice is combined with lentils to make wonderful dosas, idlis and vadas. These items are glorious and delicious besides being nourishing and digestible. The South Indian food is a brilliant blend of flavors, colors, seasoning (a little hotter than North India food), nutritional balance, fragrance, taste, and visual appeal. A typical North Indian meal would consist of chappatis or parantha (unleavened flat breads), pilafs, dals, curries all seasoned with fresh ingredients. Tandoori cooking is a north Indian specialty and famous all over the world. Tandoori chicken, naan, tandoori kebabs and shrimps are a hit at Maison Indian Curry (Indian Curry House). The Masala dosa(Indian crêpe made by stuffing a dosa with a lightly cooked filling of potatoes, fried onions and spices) is also amongst the best in Montreal. The authentic food, friendly service and cozy ambiance will have you going back to Maison Indian Curry on a regular basis.
Maison Indian Curry House draws broad praise for authentic Indian flavors, with butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, biryani, dal makhni, and naan repeatedly highlighted as standouts and portions that feel generous for the price. Dining in is described as warm and welcoming, while takeout can vary in quality with some dishes oversalted or lacking, though many still enjoy the overall menu. Service is frequently praised for friendliness and attentiveness, contributing to a reliable and comforting experience that makes this a favorite for families and regulars. Overall, it is viewed as a top Montreal option for Indian cuisine, delivering flavorful curries, good value, and a high level of satisfaction despite occasional inconsistencies.
OMG the Chat papri was so fresh & authentic . If you love North Indian food this is the place . Authentic Delhi street food & curries are speciality. Bhathure channa dish is very much same we used to eat in India. Don't forget to taste their mango lassi.

Still the best Indian restaurant in the neighborhood, if not on the island! The chicken dosa is great, the thalis are *really* good value for money & delicious. The chaat papri is the best I ever had & the mango lassi is brilliant. & the prices are really still affordable in this economy compared to some other places on the island. Used to live in the hood & would order takeout at least once a week. We have now moved far & it takes at least half an hour, so we don't make the drive often, at most once a year, but it's worth it. Really cannot recommend enough!
Our favorite indian restaurant. STRENGTHS Butter chicken Channa masala Veggie pakora Lamb vindaloo & madrasi Mango lassi Fresh baked naan A bunch of other meals are good too Of course, pricing is very affordable (about $25 per person but we have a big appetite & order a lot) WEAKNESSES Fish pakora (dry) Malai kofta (not bad, sauce a bit too thick & heavy) Some servers hardly speak english None of those weaknesses are dealbreakers, you can work around it. They're all very sweet & I'm happy to support them. I've tried all the others in the vicinity & this is our favorite for our favorite meals we listed. We come often.
We were a few to go to the restaurant, had fish pakora, a chicken curry thali, chicken Dosa & a Mango Lassi. The food was delicious, service was fast & a lot of seating space.

Indian resto bustling with people! Kids had the butter chicken thali which was a good deal. We also tried an indian appetizer (puri pari) with mango lassi. Ordered a tasty mild lamb dish (had to order rice & naan on the side since it is not included in the price), & the sizzling chicken tikka/pork + naan dish. Wasn't able to finish!
Incredible flavour, wonderful hosts/staff, very reasonable prices. Probably some of the best North Indian cuisine I've had in this city. Try the masala chai, the mango lassi, dhal makhni, dosas, naan/parotha & pani purri. Everything on the menu is pretty delicious. Must visit!

Authentic, delicious, & generous are the three words i'd use to describe this place. Everything from the Samosas to the Lassi felt authentic & packed so much flavour. The texture of the fresh Naan was akin to a cloud, while the shrimp madrasi truly packed a spicy punch. Cherry on top; the portions were VERY generous & the prices absolutely reasonable. I recommend sharing the Channa Samosas as it could be an entire meal on its own.
On me dit "One moment" ...
Service rapide. À chaque visite satisfaction garantie. Le prix des assiettes est très raisonnable.
