I tried Indian food about three years ago at a different restaurant & was really disappointed. I decided to retry today at ChaiShai & was blown away by how good the food is! The girl at the counter was so nice & sweet & her recommendations were spot on. I think I inhaled everything on my plate it was that good. Would highly recommend!!!
The attendance noticed I wanted an item that was not on the menu, & she offered it to me at no extra cost. A small thing that made a big difference in the experience. The place is clean & cozy, & poullet au beurre poutine was just great!

Had a wonderful experience at Chaiwala! The food was absolutely delicious, with rich flavors & perfect portions. The service was exceptional-friendly, attentive, & made us feel welcome from start to finish. Definitely a spot I'd recommend & can't wait to come back! So glad this is open so we don't have to drive to Toronto for some boom chai!
Thanks for the fantastic service Hiba. We loved everything! The golgappas cannot be missed, you won't regret it. The butter chicken nan wrap was fabulous & the tikka chicken was perfection. Ended it with a delicious mango lassi. Overall, excellent food & service & great music too.
We visit 1st time in chaisai, the place is totally clam & peaceful. The food was really delicious. & the service is awesome. Specially thanks to Heba ❤?

Hiba & the crew were very welcoming & the food was amazing. I'm visiting town & I've come here everyday cus they have WiFi good food & it's a casual environment which I enjoy.
While the food is usually great the service tonight was awful. The server was overwhelmed. I had to ask for cutlery multiple times. The table was not cleaned. I asked for napkins & cleaned it myself because the server didn't bother. Kashmiri Chai usually my favorite was served cold. I specifically asked for no sugar tea but was served tea with sugar. Very disappointing experience.
It was great I tried paneer tikka masala it was tasty, but if you like spicy food tell them before because they serve food with too less spices. Although,masala fries were too great .🍽?.

Exceptional Food & Service! I ordered catering from Chaïshaï on January 1st for my boyfriend's surprise birthday, & I couldn't be happier with my experience. The food presentation was absolutely amazing, & every dish was incredibly fresh & delicious. All our guests loved the food! What truly stood out was the exceptional service. The owners went above & beyond by personally delivering the food to my home to help make the surprise even more special. Their care & dedication truly made a difference. Chaïshaï serves the best Indian home-style food in Montreal, made with so much love & attention to detail. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic, flavorful Indian cuisine.
