I appreciated very much the recommendation of wines & drinks, the knowledge of the waiter in explaining to us the dishes, & the excellent quality of the meal. The quebec lamb melted in my mouth despite being cooked to the recommended medium level, & my wife thoroughly enjoyed her veal. The dessert was also decadent, & ended our evening very nicely. The anniversary surprise was also a super nice touch!
Dining at this acclaimed restaurant was an incredible experience. The service was top-notch, adhering to perfect table etiquette from the warm greeting at the entrance to the personalized attention from the waitstaff. The food was astonishing & beautifully plated, perfectly complemented by an exquisite wine selection & cocktails. For my wife's special occasion, she was even treated to a complimentary dessert that made the evening truly memorable.
Outstanding food & service-a must-try.
I sat at the bar & had a really pleasant conversation with the bartender, which added to the experience. The atmosphere is upscale, so dress nicely-it's definitely more of a'treat yourself' kind of spot.
The restaurant has a beautiful terrace & is perfect for all kinds of occasions, whether it's closing business deals, dining with family, or going out with friends. They also have tables that accommodate larger groups.
The ingredients are top-notch, & it shows in every dish.
They're so accommodating. They made me a vegan dish (mushroom risotto) that was not on the menu. & even proposed a vegan sorbet that was not on the menu, as a dessert.
This restaurant is pricey so expect to pay 100$ per person.
We really enjoyed the brunch menu here. What we appreciated most was how beautifully each component was executed. The techniques were handled with precision & restraint, yet the complexity still came through in every element of the dish. Nothing felt loud or flashy; instead, there was a quiet refinement achieved through thoughtful balance & depth of flavour, along with a pleasing interplay of textures that unfolded as you continued to savour each bite. It felt like a well-judged balance between French classics & contemporary reinterpretation.
We ordered the Garlic Gratiné Snails (Escargot), Salmon Tartare, Pulled Pork Sandwich, Icelandic Cod, & the Chocolate Entremet Cake. The Escargot & Icelandic Cod were well executed. The chocolate cake was a real highlight & easily one of the best desserts we have had in a while. The ambience was cozy yet elegant, which complemented the food beautifully. We would highly recommend this place.

Amazing decor & set up, chairs: sooo comfortable, you don't want to leave!
The service: one of the best!! You lift an eye & someone comes to see you. We were four, Sunday brunch in December 2025, for an anniversary. They even brought a special treat for the special guest!
Food: from automn salad, fish filet with mullet caviar ( so good! ), lamb from the silver caddy ( old school, but works!), & dessert ( pain perdu ) . Everything was succulent! Atmosphere is classy without being too fancy. Sitting in the verrière is the best spot: it is grand!

Thank you for a wonderful meal & visit to your Maison Boulud restaurant! We thoroughly enjoyed the meal to celebrate a birth, as well as a recent birthday. It was a special celebration with my mother who is well into her 90's. We were given the royal treatment by the Maison Boulud staff!
Valet parking was provided upon arrival & departure. Coat checks were also provided. This was a pleasant addition to our visit to the restaurant.
On our first visit, Joe was our main server & was attentive, caring & helpful. Nadine & Pamela also assisted in serving. We enjoyed the following menu items: Tartare de Saumon & Onglet de Boeuf. For dessert we enjoyed the Gateau Carotte & the Prune & Canneberge along with a pot of warm tea.
On our second visit, Adil was our main server, along with Émile & Joe. From start to finish (our arrival to our departure), the staff was friendly, helpful, attentive & caring!! 👍❤?🥰

Disappointed by this brunch experience- the waiter kept bringing food & drinks which would not belong to our table several times, long wait for the main dish, the'tiramisu' dessert has nothing in common with the actual tiramisu - overall I went to dine with great excitement & expectations but I have been entirely disappointed this time. I truly hope things will change for the best.
We were transported back in time to when my husband was here when he was much younger- the maitre d fit us in the day we called & we had the best table in the house. Y the duck pond. Gatten didn't miss a beat- from a fantastic food gras to our lobster Caesar & lobster black truffle risotto /. We were too full for dessert but left with hot Madeline's.. you know you are in a 5star restaurant when bread is incredible & we knew it the moment he brought the bread to us
Maison Boulud serves an excellent three course lunch for a mere 50 CAD. Five options to choose as a starter & main, & two as a dessert.
They also have an exquisite wine list, which is rather expensive, but if you explore the list you can find very good affordable wines.
We dined at Maison Boulud, & our experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the beautiful outdoor space, to the incredible service, & the fantastic food. Our waiter Julien was absolutely phenomenal - friendly, knowledgeable & efficient. The entire wait staff was wonderful. I can honestly say it was the best service we've had in Montreal in years. Bonus points for the personalized message on our dessert to celebrate our anniversary! We will definitely be back very soon!
Came here for both their lunch special & their dinner tasting menu.
The lunch special is definitely worth it. For 50$, you get an entree, a main meal & a dessert along with their bread service & their madeleine at the end. Everything is fresh & delicious.
Their dinner menu has more services but is also way more expensive.
The inside is beautiful & it's the perfect place for a nice meal with friends & family.
Our group of four enjoyed Sunday brunch we had tasty appetizers as well as several choices of entrees from eggs Benedictine with pork belly to Seabream fish. My strawberry tart for dessert was lovely & tasty however the pain Perdue was found to be disappointing. Ambiance & service was 5 stars. Not my my first visit nor will it be my last.
On prend trois entrées. C'est long à mâcher.
My husband & I went to maison boulud for our anniversary dinner during our short visit in Montreal. We were glad we did. The food was phenomenal & just very pretty. We ordered the hamachi, some of the daily specials (caviar amuse bouche & the tournedos Rossini), the duck & some dessert. We ordered some drinks as well. Lune de miel was my drink, & it initially tasted very sour like it was out of balance. I didn't want to return it since I never return whatever i order but my husband said it was realllly sour. Our server told us not to drink it if I didn't like it & gave us a new one. Later, the bartender came to us & told us that there was indeed something missing & gave another one to me, & THAT was a great drink. Any restaurant can make a mistake, but how they remedy it really makes a restaurant special. In this case, our experience was great. My dish, the tournedos Rossini, Was a filet mignon with foie gras & truffles, & this was scrumptious. I'd order this again any day. The desserts were both phenomenal too - fresh & light. We came back for more the next day. My husband wished he had my dish. I heard that Montreal doesn't have any Michelin stars, but if they ever come to the city, I don't see why this restaurant wouldn't have at least one. I would love to come back later.
Maison Boulud is an absolute gem! From start to finish, every bite was a delight. The Volcano Lava chocolate dessert was simply divine, rich, indulgent, & perfectly executed. The wine pairing was exquisite, enhancing every flavor on the table.
But the real surprise? The burger! As someone who usually avoids carbs, I couldn't resist, & it was absolutely worth it, succulent, flavorful, & perfectly cooked. & let's talk about the octopus salad. WOW! Fresh, tender, & beautifully seasoned.
Obrigada!!
I loved my dinner here. The staff made me feel welcome & provided a high level of service & attention. I had the escargots, & contre-filet with a very nice Piemonte Barbaresco. The escargots were not your typical garlic butter saturated version, but much lighter in a mushroom emulsion. The contre-filet was served I two rectangular portion, cooked to my requested degree of doneness, & very tender & flavorful. Although I declined dessert, my server, Miho, brought me a basket filled with freshly baked warm Madeleines. Such a nice gesture. All my visits here are always memorable.
My experience at Maison Boulud was incredible. My friend & I were visiting Montreal & wanted a Michelin-quality dinner. MB had no reservations but they were kind enough to seat us at the bar. I actually loved sitting at the bar because the bartender & the sommelier were both so fun & passionate about their work. Every course was phenomenal & the wine pairings elevated the experience. Toward the end, I was feeling so full, but the pre-dessert course hacked my digestive system & made me feel not full almost immediately. It was a really cool trick. It's been several months & I'm still thinking about my dinner there. I highly recommend you check it out if you're in Montreal.
