Président d'honneur de l'édition 2007 du Festival Montréal en Lumière, Daniel Boulud a déjà tissé des liens étroits avec Montréal. « Je suis français d'origine et américain d'adoption depuis plus de 3 décennies. Mon approche comme chef et restaurateur combine les deux traditions européennes et nord-américaines. C'est ce mélange de culture qui me fascine à propos de Montréal et qui me fait sentir très proche de ma ville natale de Lyon, a ajouté M. Boulud.
Maison Boulud est décrite comme une destination gastronomique française raffinée où la cuisine est constamment soignée, le service est impeccable et le cadre est élégant mais accueillant, les avis saluant des plats inventifs, des sauces raffinées et des desserts remarquables comme les madeleines; l'ambiance peut aller d'une verrière lumineuse à une salle intime et chaleureuse, ce qui en fait un lieu prisé pour les occasions spéciales et les repas d'affaires, et la carte des vins est vaste et bien assortie; quelques critiques soulignent que certains plats principaux manquent de générosité ou que les brunchs peuvent être inégaux et coûteux, mais le consensus général reste une expérience exceptionnelle et mémorable qui incite à revenir.
Dining at this acclaimed restaurant was an incredible experience. The service was top-notch, adhering to perfect table etiquette from the warm greeting at the entrance to the personalized attention from the waitstaff. The food was astonishing & beautifully plated, perfectly complemented by an exquisite wine selection & cocktails. For my wife's special occasion, she was even treated to a complimentary dessert that made the evening truly memorable.
I sat at the bar & had a really pleasant conversation with the bartender, which added to the experience. The atmosphere is upscale, so dress nicely-it's definitely more of a'treat yourself' kind of spot.
The restaurant has a beautiful terrace & is perfect for all kinds of occasions, whether it's closing business deals, dining with family, or going out with friends. They also have tables that accommodate larger groups.
The ingredients are top-notch, & it shows in every dish.
They're so accommodating. They made me a vegan dish (mushroom risotto) that was not on the menu. & even proposed a vegan sorbet that was not on the menu, as a dessert.
This restaurant is pricey so expect to pay 100$ per person.

We celebrated a birthday & the service was excellent. Our glasses were never empty. The cocktails were imaginative & beautiful. Perhaps it was the items we chose but the food was good. Not spectacular or imaginative but it was satisfactory.
We really enjoyed the brunch menu here. What we appreciated most was how beautifully each component was executed. The techniques were handled with precision & restraint, yet the complexity still came through in every element of the dish. Nothing felt loud or flashy; instead, there was a quiet refinement achieved through thoughtful balance & depth of flavour, along with a pleasing interplay of textures that unfolded as you continued to savour each bite. It felt like a well-judged balance between French classics & contemporary reinterpretation.
We ordered the Garlic Gratiné Snails (Escargot), Salmon Tartare, Pulled Pork Sandwich, Icelandic Cod, & the Chocolate Entremet Cake. The Escargot & Icelandic Cod were well executed. The chocolate cake was a real highlight & easily one of the best desserts we have had in a while. The ambience was cozy yet elegant, which complemented the food beautifully. We would highly recommend this place.
Lovely Christmas dinner at Maison Boulour. Warm, elegant atmosphere without feeling stiff, attentive service all evening, & the food was genuinely excellent. Seasonal dishes done really well, beautifully presented, & everything felt thoughtful rather than overdone. A calm, special place to spend Christmas, would happily go back.
I've been there at least a dozen times since it has opened… both on personal lunch/dinners or on business events. It's been consistently a great experience . The menu is both inventive & beautifully executed. The service is attentive, but not overbearing. The cocktail & wine list are excellent (although the wine list is devoid of good deals…). Overall, a great experience

Great place to eat the food was great, service was nice the cocktails where incredible & beautiful but I would say a bit pricey compared to the rest

Great & beautiful restaurant at the Ritz-Carlton Montreal.
As we stayed at the Ritz-Carlton we profited to go for dinner at the Maison Boulud.
The service is sharp, attentive & friendly. The open kitchen & the dinning room are modern & modern.
The food is very good & the plates presentation are nice.
People having dinner were well dressed & the ambience is quite, ideal for a good conversation & have good time.
Maison Boulud offers refined French cuisine in an elegant yet relaxed setting. The service is impeccable, the dishes are beautifully executed, & the attention to detail shines in every course.
We had an amazing experience at Maison Boulud!
Staff were very hands on, attentive, welcoming & friendly.
Food was delicious & beautifully presented.
The fondant au chocolat was one of the best I've ever had!!! They treated us with warm fresh out of the oven mini madeleine as a birthday treat & there were just perfect!.
A must try restaurant!

We dined at Maison Boulud, & our experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the beautiful outdoor space, to the incredible service, & the fantastic food. Our waiter Julien was absolutely phenomenal - friendly, knowledgeable & efficient. The entire wait staff was wonderful. I can honestly say it was the best service we've had in Montreal in years. Bonus points for the personalized message on our dessert to celebrate our anniversary! We will definitely be back very soon!
Came here for both their lunch special & their dinner tasting menu.
The lunch special is definitely worth it. For 50$, you get an entree, a main meal & a dessert along with their bread service & their madeleine at the end. Everything is fresh & delicious.
Their dinner menu has more services but is also way more expensive.
The inside is beautiful & it's the perfect place for a nice meal with friends & family.

The food delicious & perfectly presented. We were expecting small portions but we were wrong, portions were perfect.
We had a table in the beautiful garden & the weather was ideal to sit out & enjoy a great meal.
The glass room & indoor restaurant seatings were full as well.
Staff was so friendly & accommodating. Beautiful smiles & greetings from the hostess right at the entrance to a friendly & personalized service from our waitress Lina. Very hands on & attentive.
A must try, we strongly recommend this restaurant.

What an amazing restaurant! I have been wanting to come here for months & my expectations were on point. Beautiful, cozy & chic restaurant in the Ritz-Carlton hotel. The food & cocktails are great. My favorites were the oriental cosmo, the coulant & the homemade tomato focaccia. Thank you to the amazing staff & the manager Valentine for having me. They also have a wonderful garden in the back with ducks 🐥, which is very cute. Will go back !

The French cuisine, led by Michelin-starred Chef Daniel Boulud, is consistently exquisite-elegant, flavorful, & beautifully presented. The service is impeccable. A must-visit for connoisseurs of culinary artistry.
Maison Boulud is an absolute gem! From start to finish, every bite was a delight. The Volcano Lava chocolate dessert was simply divine, rich, indulgent, & perfectly executed. The wine pairing was exquisite, enhancing every flavor on the table.
But the real surprise? The burger! As someone who usually avoids carbs, I couldn't resist, & it was absolutely worth it, succulent, flavorful, & perfectly cooked. & let's talk about the octopus salad. WOW! Fresh, tender, & beautifully seasoned.
This restaurant is truly exceptional! The food is always beautifully prepared & bursting with flavor, showcasing the chef's incredible skill & creativity. The ambiance always warm & inviting, making it perfect for any occasion. The staff attentive & goes above & beyond to ensure a memorable dining experience. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for outstanding cuisine & impeccable service!
