been going here since childhood & have probably eaten fifty or more meals from malhi sweets so trust me i can vouch. malhi sweets is the PLACE
so much delicious vegetarian food, great quality & portion for the price, super quick & consistent! have mostly gotten takeout & it's always really fresh & hot. i especially love the channa samosa, veg pakora, & shahi paneer. i also really like how chewy their naan is compared to restaurants that make it fluffier & less charred
also sometimes in summer they do a pani puri stand on the sidewalk in front of the restaurant yay!!
Meilleur restaurant Indien en ville! Je prends la généreuse portion de thali poulet au beurre accompagné de son pain naan à l'ail depuis des années & toujours aussi savoureux! Les proprios sont toujours présents sur le plancher & méritent selon moi leur bonne réputation. Restaurant très propre.
Je vais à ce restaurant chaque fois que je veux de la nourriture indienne. Les samosas, le pain naan, le riz biryani, les épinards... tout est très bon.
First time I've ever enjoyed the tandoori chicken, it's not dry like other restaurants. When you say mild, they really do put mild spices. I've ordered three weeks in a row & each time it has been wonderful. Lamb curry, daal, naan everything is tasty. A great place to order from & they package everything well. My mom also loves the food. This will be our first choice for Indian food. We'll done!
The best Indian food in the area..& I have tried them all! Flavourful but not overly spicy, generous portions. Butter chicken, chili chicken, lamb kebabs, the kormas, alu Gobi, eggplant ...& exquisite naan bread, hot from the tandoor. Family run & the owners are always on site. Small & informal dining room. They also do a lot of well-packaged takeout. Parking available pretty easily on surrounding streets.
Enjoyed Lunch today at Malhi Sweets. We had Goat Curry, shahi paneer(must try) & dal makhni with Garlic naan. Food is really authentic & staff is welcoming.
Amazing food! Best Indian restaurant in Montreal.
My favorite is the shahi Paneer with the garlic. Naan bread is out of this world!! 5 stars would recommend!
