Nous sommes allés bruncher à 4. Super service, plats généreux & savoureux. Service impeccable. Il y a eu un petit oubli dans la suite des plats qui nous a valu une belle surprise sucrée à partager... Merci, très gentille attention.
Petite note à considérer... les oeufs bénédictines sur bagel... super idée MAIS... très difficile à couper & vraiment trop salissant pour manger tout ça avec les mains. Bien que le bagel Montréalais soit recherché, il serait nécessaire qu'un remplaçant au bagel soit trouvé. C'était vraiment difficile de couper le bagel, il était trop dur & glissait dans l'assiette. Nous avons demandé des couteaux à steak pour y arriver & malgré tout l'opération était difficile. Il doit bien y avoir de bons muffins anglais ou autre chose qui serait plus agréable à couper & tout aussi savoureux.
Est-ce qu'on retourne? Certainement !
The best Steak frites I have had outside of Paris. & we eat it often. Pascal was so attentive & helpful. He went out of his way to make sure our group had a great time. Thank you.

Très déçue malgré la recommandation de notre guide. Burger sec & froid. Le steak n etait pas un steak mais de la macreuse bouillie !
Le serveur a tenté de relever l expérience... mais globalement décevant
Superbe soirée au Maggie Oakes! Le cocktail de crevettes, le steak vieilli & les desserts étaient tous délicieux! Un grand merci à Émeric pour son incroyable service :)
We will recommend this place to all our friends. Rosemonde & Julian were the best, most pleasant servers we have had anywhere & we would come back just to see them. Our steaks, mushrooms, potatoes, & other vegetables, hot tea, & cheesecakes were excellent. We had a table next to the central square & watched the rest of the world go by. We are happy to be here in Canada, by which I mean I am glad that Montreal & Quebec are part of Canada. It has all the good qualities of Europe.
Such a memorable experience at Maggie Oakes. My family & I dined here for the first time to celebrate both my birthday & Mother's Day. The quality of the food was outstanding & the mashed potatoes perfectly complement the steak. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a good steakhouse!

Dining at this restaurant is always a pleasure. I selected this place to introduce my friends to one of Montreal's hidden gems, & once again, it exceeded all expectations. Despite the heavy rain outside, the staff remained kind, attentive, & welcoming throughout our visit.
We started our evening with cocktails & wine in the central lounge, which offered a cozy, intimate setting. Although we arrived without a reservation, one of the managers accommodated us, providing a table in a particularly special spot near the vertical garden. The seating was comfortable, & the lighting was just right, enhancing the overall ambiance.
Our waitress was friendly & attentive from the moment we sat down. The restaurant's atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between modern & elegant, making it suitable for any occasion. The music played at a perfect volume, allowing for easy conversation.
As always, the food was outstanding. Every dish was crafted with fresh, high-quality ingredients, & the variety of desserts was the perfect conclusion to our meal. The service was impeccable, with the staff going above & beyond to ensure we had an exceptional experience.
I will definitely be returning & highly recommend the Steak Bavette, Salmon Tartare, the tropical cocktail, & of course, the desserts.

Christmas dinner with the team.
Once again, we enjoyed a wonderful business dinner at a restaurant we truly love. From the moment we arrived, the experience was exceptional. The warm, welcoming atmosphere combined with the modern décor immediately set the tone for a memorable evening.
Being asked where we preferred to sit made us feel genuinely valued-having that choice is all about comfort. Continuing our now-established tradition during business dinners, we were welcomed with glasses of sparkling wine upon arrival.
We began with a selection of the house specialty cocktails, the perfect way to open our appetites. Sacha, the restaurant director, was, as always, friendly, attentive, & meticulous, ensuring that every detail contributed to an outstanding experience.
For starters, we shared popcorn shrimp, salmon tartare, chicken Caesar salad, & grilled tuna tataki-each dish was delicious & beautifully presented. For the main courses, we chose the grilled salmon, steak baguette, & cod. Every plate was flawlessly presented, with each dish cooked to perfection.
To finish, we enjoyed a perfectly curated dessert selection, offering both variety & indulgence-the ideal way to close the evening.
The service was impeccable throughout the night, consistently attentive & always ready to assist, whether refilling water or suggesting another drink.
Highly recommended for a special dinner-100% satisfaction guaranteed!
Our group of four all had a great evening & Dinner at MO's, the food was excellent & the service top notch! We had a sommelier give us some great recommendations on wine. I would recommend the flat iron steak & my group were raving about the oysters. Delish!

I came to Montreal with friend to explore leisurely. We stumbled upon this lovely restraurant. I had the 8oz filet & it was the best steak I've ever had. Our server Pascal gave us phenomenal service (& was easy on the eyes). Thank you!
Always come to get flank steak with the delicious pepper sauce it is my favourite.
Only reason i gave u 4 stars on service because sometimes were some mistakes like one time my steak was burned another time made it medium rare instead of well done another time same thing & they never offer any discount or anything like as an appology especially for a loyal custome

Really good food & the our server was really attentive. We enjoyed the bread starter & the steak was exquisite! We also enjoyed the Caesar salad which was deconstructed & different from any I've had before! We really enjoyed our meal, but at some points we did feel as if we were looked down on as a group of younger women in a posher place.
Le steak était superbe comme d'habitude mais le service à Jeremie était fantastique! Très accueillant & chaleureux, c'est lui qui nous a aidé à passer une soirée mémorable.
My family had an amazing meal at this restaurant! You order your steak family style, by the ounce, which is something I had never done before. The meat was delicious but so were the sides (those truffle mashed potatoes!). I also appreciate a well cooked, flavorful vegetable! It's definitely on the pricier side but worth every penny.
