Great location, nice place, but food was just ok. Nothing extraordinary...if you are thinking going to a steakhouse, choose another place.
The selection was limited.
They forgot one of our desserts & they did not charge us for it, but the service person was not attentive. I had to call him all the time.

We had a wonderful lunch experience here. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted & made to feel welcome.
The menu offered a fantastic variety of options to satisfy a more sophisticated palate. We came in looking for a lighter lunch, & our server was incredibly helpful in guiding us on portion sizes. I casually mentioned wanting some greens to accompany our meal, & she thoughtfully offered an off-menu salad option. That kind of attentive service & attention to detail was truly appreciated.
We decided on the charcuterie board & salmon tartare, & both were exceptional. The charcuterie board had a beautiful selection with the perfect balance of flavours & accompaniments, while the salmon tartare was fresh, flavourful, & beautifully prepared.
With excellent service, delicious food, & a beautiful patio setting in the heart of Montréal, this restaurant offers a fantastic experience & great value for the quality. We would happily return.
My daughter & I recently had the pleasure of dinning here during our vacation to Montreal. The staff were so very welcoming & made our experience unique. Our server Pascale was amazing & so attentive. The food was delightful & it did not disappoint! Would highly recommend adding this restaurant to your travel destination.
NYS escapees for a long weekend, we hit Old Montreal without a food agenda. Maggie's was on most top 10 food options, so after checking out a few other lunch spots,we turned around & got right in. Our starter choices were the veggie carpaccio & the escargot toast...both excellent & unusual. For mains, I chose the delightful lamb roll while my companion ordered the burger, which he proclaimed to be a best ever. Our server was attentive & knowledgeable, the atmosphere on the veranda was the perfect vacation touch, & the lovely sauvignon blanc was atypical of my usual weekday lunch. Excellent choice!
Really appreciate them extending our reservation time & holding our table for longer! Host was great, waiter was nice & big praise to the bus girl & bus boy (very attentive to details & made sure our table was well clean) Restaurant was not quite busy for a Friday night but service was quite slow unfortunately. We took the tomahawk steak, seasoning was great but the cook was uneven. We asked for medium rare but some parts were well done. Vibes were immaculate but we did't get much customer service though. Overall, not a bad experience, will definitely come back!! (Make sure to order their sides! Definitely worth it)
We had an amazing dinner at Maggie Oakes during our stay in Old Montreal. The atmosphere was warm, elegant, & lively, & the food was absolutely fantastic.
A special thank you to our server, Sefas - I hope I'm spelling his name correctly - who made the evening even better. He was friendly, professional, attentive, & gave us excellent service from start to finish. It's always the little details that make a dinner memorable, & he truly made us feel taken care of.
The food, service, & overall experience were all 5-star. My wife & I had such a great night & would absolutely come back the next time we're in Montreal. Highly recommend Maggie Oakes!

One of my favourite spots in Montreal! Celebrated my anniversary here, our server, Pascal was so kind & attentive. He went above & beyond to ensure our evening was so special. We went back again over the same weekend & he was working again, greeted us with the same warmth as the first evening.
Will come back here certainly, & request Pascal as a server!
