The prices are very reasonable considering it is tax included. The lines are always long so it takes a bit of time to get food, but it's worth the wait.
We ordered the whole chicken & the poutine with everything on it. Everything was lip smacking good & so flavorful. We lucked out with no line when we got there. Service was super fast. Our food was ready about 3 minutes after we ordered. The sauce was so good we got some to take home. By the time we left, there was a line around the corner. I'd say still worth the wait for the deliciousness.
Chicken looked & smelled good but the breast part was flavourless & then the dark meat was too salty. You gotta figure out how to not over season the dark meat & under-season the breast. Poutine was ok. Food was extremely greasy. The tarts were good.
The chicken is great, & if there is only a small line, worth it for sure. Two huge gripes about this place, & maybe it's just the result of them growing so fast.
The line is insane, but it seems to only exist because of how inefficient they are. The line of about 25-30 customers took over an hour to get through. There's piles & piles of chicken ready. But it seems like another ingredient or combination slows them down dramatically.
Which brings me to the fries, which may actually be the culprit. Loads of reviews say it was their best poutine they ever ate. The fries were incredibly soggy for my order, & from all the time we had in line to watch them cook, it was so obvious why. They have ginormous fryer baskets they use to double fry the potatoes, I'd say each one held 20 lbs or so, & they were loading them up right to the brim of the basket, overcrowding the cook. This is a huge problem for getting fries crispy, even when you double fry.
I don't know if they were just trying to get through a rush, but it really soured the long wait. Seems like it's a bottleneck they need to fix.
Great food! Poutine, chicken, & desserts are delicious. Lining up was worth it.
Huge portions, good prices, long line (8pm on a Wednesday), quick service considering the length of the line. We ordered the poutine & half a chicken with fries & salad. The food was okay but nothing special.
Not recommended!
We ordered chicken & poutine like most people would order but it made me feel very thirsty after eating 😖
Order anything on their menu, anything; throw a dart at the menu & you will have a great meal. The chicken sandwich is delicious & their poutine is better than that. You see a queue?...there's a reason.
Incroyable ! Très bon rapport qualité prix. La poutine est excellente ! Un must do sur Montréal !
L'attente peut être importante, ne pas hésitez à commander par téléphone pour emporter.
