Je n'arrive pas à croire que je n'avais jamais laissé d'avis après toutes ces années chez Ma Poule Mouillée !
Ça fait plus de dix ans que j'y vais, & je suis encore autant fan aujourd'hui. Les prix sont imbattables, les portions sont incroyablement généreuses, j'en ai toujours pour le lendemain.
C'est devenu un incontournable pour moi, un vrai staple à Montréal. Toujours aussi bon, toujours aussi satisfaisant
Be aware & be prepared: Always waiting time! The place has just few places to eat inside. 1st come, 1st served. HOWEVER, amazing food, delicious, coconut flan is top! & come hungry... if not... you will have to take the leftovers... LOL...
Suggestion: in the spring, summer, autumn with nice temperatures order as take out & go to the park nearby... bring your picnic matt & enjoy 😉.
I ordered 2 meals To go, One chicken sandwich with fries & salad, The Other one , Half a chicken With fries & salade. they put everything in the same box, with the salad on top of the fries, when I got home, the salad was soggy & not edible… which ended up in the garbage , I don't see the common sense to put salad on top of fries in the same cardboard box. & another thing I had asked for extra sauce on the chicken & there was ZERO SAUCE on the chicken. Very disappointed, I won't be going back there again..
The poutine is the best I've ever had (as a québécois that says a lot) & the chicken was so good I had to buy the sauce & seasoning mix immediately after. I always recommend my friends to come here when they visit the city.
What an awesome spot!! Best chicken we have EVER tasted, hands down! So fast, friendly, & the value is amazing, huge portions! If we could give it 6 stars, we would!!!

I have never try so delicious Portuguese Meal like Ma Poule Mouillée. If I could give them 10 Starts I would. To bad im not from Montréal. Toronto is Home.

For the price point, you get a TON of food which is always a plus. However, the chicken was on the drier side & mild in flavour. Maybe my expectations were too high? I did skip out on the poutine so maybe that would've been the highlight of the meal. I got the half chicken with salad & fries - fries would've definitely been better as poutine. On their own, they were not very good.
I also wish service was more helpful. As first time visitors, it was a bit overwhelming to order, & the lady taking our order was very distracted & wasn't helpful in her recommendations.
Best poutine in Montreal. I dare say that it might beat La Banquise across the street. I got their chicken chorizo poutine & the fries were great. For the price of a small size, I didn't expect a heaping tower. I was completely full & satisfied. My friend & I went on a Sunday around lunch time so there was a line but service moved fast.
Went early so no line ups, lots of seating available but we went in February, when the weather improves I can see it getting busier. Chicken was amazing. I felt the poutine was better than the famous place across the street. Highly recommended, I will definitely return when I visit Montreal next
Ce resto a probablement le meilleur poulet portugais en villle. Tout est bon. Il a détrôné un autre classique depuis longtemps. La poutine avec chorizo, poulet & épicé de Ma Poule Mouilée est bien meilleure que l'ensemble des poutine du voisin en transversal.
