I ordered 2 meals To go, One chicken sandwich with fries & salad, The Other one , Half a chicken With fries & salade. they put everything in the same box, with the salad on top of the fries, when I got home, the salad was soggy & not edible… which ended up in the garbage , I don't see the common sense to put salad on top of fries in the same cardboard box. & another thing I had asked for extra sauce on the chicken & there was ZERO SAUCE on the chicken. Very disappointed, I won't be going back there again..
The poutine is the best I've ever had (as a québécois that says a lot) & the chicken was so good I had to buy the sauce & seasoning mix immediately after. I always recommend my friends to come here when they visit the city.

A friend in Ottawa told us to check this place out, & we are so glad we did! My friend & I shared the chicken & chorizo sandwich, with mild sauce, fries & salad on the side. Everything was so good! The fries were crispy, the sandwich had no need for extra fluff & stuff.... meat, bread, sauce. Delicious! We went at 4:00 on a Thursday afternoon, so parking was relatively easy, & we were able to get seating easily as well. Highly recommend!
Their grilled calamari & Portuguese chicken were AMAZING! The chicken still tasted delicious even when it was cold. They truly worked some magic with their sauce. I didn't try their famous poutine, & now I really regret it. I'll definitely be coming back when I get the chance!

I recently returned here for the first time in about 10 years & was extremely disappointed. The poutine was not the miracle I tasted the first time & my chicken thigh meal was no better as the chicken just tasted greasy & I could barely taste the spicy piri piri sauce I asked for. The rice I got also tasted very bland.
This was a very strong disappointment for me. I expected them to live up to their fantastic reputation & it didn't even come close.
Our spread of pork, chicken, & chorizo was delicious. Best fries we've had in Montreal. I bought one of each of their sauces which I do not have words to describe the flavor it imparted on me. The place filled up quick after we ordered, but the line moved super fast. Incredible.

This place is absolute worst for the reviews & hype . We got whole chicken & 2 chicken poutines. The chicken is tooooo salty (not the sauce but the meat itself ) . Poutines are better at McDonalds than here. Not worth the buck & for the people who saw it on YouTube & want to try. Go try some local places who serve the best poutine . Place is over hyped for the shitty meals they serve
Ma Poule Mouillée is always a great choice for Portuguese chicken & I find they have the best poutine in the city. For the price, you are getting a huge portion & everything is amazing. I give their poutine a solid 9/10 with the star being the chicken & the sauce. The cheese curds are very good & the chorizo is also a nice touch. The fries are pretty good but are the lowest point of the dish. I can't express enough how good the chicken is, they nail it! If you come in the early evening, get ready to wait for a table but for lunch during the week it's perfect.
Le poulet est excellent : très juteux, parfaitement assaisonné & cuit à point. La sauce qui l'accompagne est également délicieuse. Les frites sont excellentes, croustillantes à l'extérieur & fondantes à l'intérieur.
Malgré les augmentations du coût de la vie, le prix reste très concurrentiel. Au final, c'est un repas très rassasiant & d'une grande qualité, qui offre un excellent rapport qualité-prix

Ahhh Mon dieu ! Un ami est arrivé avec cette poutine qui dépasse toute attente....je n'avais même pas faim & j'en ai mangé la moitié que par gourmandise...
La sauce, les frites croustillantes, la sauce piquante, le poulet 😍...... & quoi dire du fromage..... Je n'aime pas le fromage en grain, habituellement je mange 2-3 morceaux dans ma poutine.... Là j'en prenais avec chaque bouchée tellement il est délicieux ! La portion est immense & à vraiment bon prix ! Je ne mangerai plus jamais une poutine québécoise tellement ce serait une grande déception. J'écris cet avis là bouche pleine de salive vu que c'est fermé aujourd'hui & que j'avais le goût d'en manger pour déjeuner. Cette poutine est clairement la meilleure drogue que j'ai goûté de ma vie ! Merci d'exister !
J'y suis retourné 2x depuis..... On dirait que c'est meilleur chaque fois. En quittant l'endroit, j'ai remarqué le line-up devant la Banquise, en passant près d'eux j'avais le goût de leur dire : si vous saviez à quel point vous attendez pour rien du tout.... Marchez 50 mètres.... Nous n'avons même pas eu d'attente en plein à l'heure du souper, pour facilement 700% meilleur que la Banquise.....en tout cas je m'en plains pas, bien content de pas avoir d'attente.......les mêlés peuvent continuer d'aller à la Banquise.... Les connaisseurs de la poule mouillée continueront à venir parce que c'est irremplaçable & de toute façon on sait ce qu'on veut bien avant d'arriver, souvent même depuis quelques jours...
Overeated! On a demandé extra piquant, donc beaucoup de sauce & il n'y en avait pas du tout. Assiette donc très sec & sans saveur piquante. Je préfère chez Romados!
Mouth-wateringly good Portuguese rotisserie chicken. Very affordable. Their house poutine, with chicken, chorizo & piri-piri sauce, is iconic. Be prepared to wait in line. It's totally worth the wait.
I love Portuguese chicken & I love poutine, safe to say I loved the #8 chicken & sausage poutine here. It was a long wait even when we didn't start waiting outside, so be prepared. However, their poutine is my personal favourite in the city & well worth the wait.
The fries are potatoey, thick, but still crispy, the cheese curds are classic & squeaky, gravy reminded me of the flavourful sauce of a Portuguese francesinha, & the chicken & sausages were juicy & flavourful with spices & flame grilled essence. Great value as well.

Used to love this place. But the last visit last week, I found the prices went up, the food felt more greasy leaving me feeling sick after, & the time to wait for takeaway was crazy. There were probably 15 people in front of me, & no joke, we waited 35 minutes get our food. Large poutine didn't come with spicy sauce like it used to. Disappointed & won't likely return for another while.
Poutine & frite ok. aussi mais le sandwich au poulet très ordinaire, pas de sauce pas de légumes. Ça manquait de goût. Celle qui prenait notre commande ne nous regardais même pas, nous n'étions même pas certaines qu'elle nous parlait à nous.
Ma poule mouillée était sur ma liste de restos à essayer depuis longtemps & j'ai enfin eu la chance d'y aller récemment. À mon arrivée j'étais très excitée d'essayer la poutine avec du poulet & chorizo. Il y avait une file à l'extérieur mais le service est rapide & le temps a passé vite. Les prix sont raisonnables parce que les portions sont énormes & incluent les taxes! Par contre, j'ai été déçue de ma poutine. Le poulet était super bon, tendre & pas sec du tout (mais il y avait des morceaux de cartilage). Par contre, j'ai trouvé que le chorizo était simplement ok & la sauce très bof. Le fromage était excellent. Je n'ai même pas réussi à manger la moitié de mon assiette avant de me sentir très pleine. Je ne reviendrai pas mais je suis contente d'avoir essayé ma poule mouillée!

Someone suggested the #8, the Portuguese poutine. It's was delicious! The chicken with choriço, the cheese curds, & sauce were divine. I have to come back & try the rest.
