Wow! Couldn't be happier with the food & Service we experienced at Lou's PC. A true neighbourhood gem that we love supporting! I celebrated my birthday in their Private dining room & it did not disappoint. We will be back
First time trying this place, did not disappoint! Loved the tuna carpaccio, & the rigatoni! My wife got oysters & the burger - looked fantastic! Would definitely recommend!
This is a cool upscale place, nice to have in the area. Prices are reasonable & the food is pretty good. I recommend the beef tartare. The cut is by hand into the perfect sized peices so that you know exactly what you're eating. The tuna carpaccio could do without the spicy mayo. Service was fast, reliable & went the extra mile. The restaurant is a bit small but they have a downstairs private room. Overall I like this place & would give a solid 4.3/5.
We weren't sure about making a reservation since we had to bring our young son, & the photos made it seem like it might not be kid-friendly. But I'm so glad we went.
The staff was amazing, especially Gaby. Everyone was friendly & welcoming, & the food was fantastic. We were really impressed.
A must try is the burger because it's absolutely incredible. The fries are perfectly crispy, full of flavor, & some of the best we've ever had, we almost ordered an entire other serving of them. The cheesy cauliflower is also not to be missed.
We don't get out much with little kids at home, so this felt special. Thanks to the team at Lou's for making it such a great night. We'll definitely be back & will recommend it to others.
Charming restaurant in the Pointe-Claire village, food was great, & has a cosy/intimate atmosphere. The service was efficient & friendly. Definitely recommend trying it out if you're in the West Island.
This was our second time dining at Lou's & somehow it was even better than the first! My husband & I sat at the bar & were lucky to be served by Evelyn, who was both our bartender & server. She was incredibly friendly, attentive & made custom cocktails for us based on our preferences. Each one was spot on! We also really appreciated that the kitchen was able to accommodate my husband's celiac without any issue. Great food, great drinks & even better service :)
Service was incredibly slow…. Awkwardly so. We considered getting up & leaving because we didn't think we would ever be served. Seated at the table 25mins before our drinks were served. Orders were taken about 10 mins later. Food started to arrive just after an hour & 15 mins at the table…. (We ordered apps & salads).
The main dining room wasn't even close to being full so it's not like they were overly busy.
They only want to give you 2 hrs per seating but took 75 mins to get us our food.
The restaurant was extremely loud to begin with but it was compounded by the fact that the front door kept being opened & closed as the staff went outside to serve people on the patio. Every time the door opened & closed it slammed with a bang due to the pressure differential.
I won't go back…there are just too many other, better choices out there. It seems that there is a huge drop off in hospitality between restaurants in the West Island & downtown Montreal.
Have been to Lou's many times & it is always great. We were lucky enough to get a table this week for the Gentile dinner. Maggie & the staff were amazing as always despite the massive crowd. Everyone was happy & having a great time. The food at Lou's is always great & with the Gentile menu items for the evening it was fantastic

We went as a group of 18 people. We had a full course going for all of us. For the main course we all ended up having just a slice of a steak & some chicken. Alot of appetisers before that though. To be honest the food was really good almost to perfection but the portions were very small & its my reason for 3 stars. Would highly recommend ordering off the menu instead. We did ask for ordering off the menu & they never came back to us for this. Some sort of angry manager came in at some point & it really looked like she was mad for no reason & she was extremely rude. The desserts are to die for though.
Terrible experience we reserved for 18 ended up being 23 couldn't change how many people we had couldn't order off the regular menu didn't get an answer with a lot of questions even with only 18 each person got a sliver of each meal with a set menu & to top it all off this angry manager whatever she was came into the room wasn't even our waitress & was completely disrespectful & extremely rude. I would recommend never spending your time or money at this broken establishment
Really great local restaurant & if you are not a local, well worth the visit. Tuna Carpaccio is absolutely delicious as well as the scallops. Staff are professional & knowledgeable & I'm looking forward to my next visit.
