Lovely vibe & setting. Feels like a very warm & friendly cabin or traditional pub. Enjoyed the beers on offer & the food. Burger was good, Poutine with truffles a nice twist & the escalope was huge. Several groups of locals in, which is always a good sign. Recommended.
It took us over an hour to get our appetizers. When they arrived they were cold. The'main' pasta dish is a Primi & not sufficient as a main dish. The vegetable farmers plate tasted like a campfire. Terrible use of smoke.
The bartender yelled at a server in front of the whole restaurant. Very unprofessional.
The hostess was very nice & attentive.
Nous avons adoré ! Tout était parfait ! Nourriture, service, ambiance. Même la playlist de musique était parfaite !! Merci encore nous allons y retourner !
A hidden gem - cozy lodge vibes with a winter aesthetic. Truly excellent food, layered & delicious flavors, made thoughtfully & with a care. High end food in a casual atmosphere. Couldn't help but try every course & can't wait to try more. Absolutely worth a stop.

We recently had a work dinner at L'Orignal & everyone loved it! The ambiance was warm & inviting, the food was outstanding, & the service was top notch. We even bought the sweatshirts to commemorate the evening as everyone enjoyed it so much. Would highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion.
Nel pieno centro di Montreal, avevo prenotato in anticipo questo ristorante. Molto carino il locale, con tanti oggetti particolari. Abbiamo mangiato hamburger di bisonte con patatine (poutine): molto buono. Personale come in tutto il Canada, molto gentile. Con le bevande, circa 80 dollari in 2. Bravi.
