Had some amazing food here! The filet mignon was really good, but the red wine sauce was absolutely incredible. & obviously, I had to get the Divine French Toast it definitely lived up to the hype!
I went on a Friday around noon, & the place was still pretty busy, but the service was surprisingly fast. I really liked the atmosphere posh but still with a warm, local vibe. The servers were knowledgeable & gave great recommendations based on my taste, which I really appreciated.
The only thing I didn't like was fruit flies & 4-5 flies around the bar area. I was seated near the bar counter & no one seemed particularly concerned about it.
Overall, a great experience with excellent food, service, & atmosphere. I'd definitely come back.
Went for weekend brunch with a friend, & overall, it was a pleasant experience with a few highs & lows. Definitely recommend making a reservation if you're planning to come on the weekend because it gets busy.
We were welcomed warmly & seated right away. The service started a little slowly, & our food actually arrived before our drinks, which was a bit unusual. We tried the gravlax plate & the smoked salmon with poached eggs. Both were decent, but neither really stood out as something I'd be craving again.
The real star of the brunch was the French toast! Thick, fluffy, rich, & absolutely delicious. We went for the version served with ice cream, & it was honestly the highlight of the entire meal. It was so indulgent that even with two of us sharing, we couldn't finish it.
I can see why this place gets attention, & it was a nice brunch overall. The service could use a little improvement, but the atmosphere & that French toast definitely made the visit worthwhile. I'd come back with a friend to try the dinner menu, but for brunch, I'd probably explore somewhere new next time.
Overrated! The service was horrible for such a pricey restaurant. However, I strongly recommend the crab cake, the mushroom soup, & the french toast dessert. AVOID the mussels; they were not good at all which was so surprising. I had tried one & left the rest on my plate. The waiter did not even ask what was wrong & when I asked to bring the mussels home, he advised me not to as it was a'food risk'. That was wild as the entire main meal was still on my plate & he never offered a different solution. This was upsetting & I will never go back there. There are much better restaurants out there so avoid this place if you can & spend that money elsewhere!
I took my mom for brunch here as she saw a video of their French toast, it was good. The other brunch items were basic & not worth the price.
The service wasn't good. We felt like we were annoying the waitress. Our table was set with a dirty napkin & plate, we also weren't checked on until we were almost done, & didn't get water refilled without asking whereas the table next to us was constantly tended to.
I think there are better places out there for brunch especially in terms of service.
Leméac is always my top choice whenever I want to enjoy high quality French cuisine. Their classic French toast served with maple syrup is truly outstanding & unforgettable. The restaurant atmosphere always exudes an elegant, luxurious, & wonderfully warm feeling.
This french toast is just as bomb as everyone says it is. Recommend coming here for that alone, but the rest of the menu is great as well. The salmon rillette dish & the saffron risotto were both excellent lunch options. Coming back here for sure.
Excellent service, lovely atmosphere. Everything I've tried there (after multiple visits) is incredible, except the mac n' cheese which was underwhelming & one-note. The French toast dessert is a MUST!
