Leméac café bistrot de Outremont est une fort belle brasserie française, aux prix plus qu'acceptables. Le soir, le menu compte environ 13 entrées, et une douzaine de plats principaux: le cabillaud, le thon et risotto, le pot-au-feu de saumon, le foie de veau, le carré d'agneau, la bavette, Short rib de boeuf servi avec un ragout d'orge perlé, les tartares de boeuf ou de saumon, etc... La cave de vins de Leméac compte plus de 225 entrées rouge et blanc!

Had brunch there. Ordered the popular pain perdu (which I had had a year before) it was good but they changed the recipe & instead of vanilla ice cream & caramel sauce topping (like it used to be) it's now a mountain of bananas with chocolate & maple syrup. Really didn't enjoy this change as much. But the brioche bread was still very good! Underwhelming experience but still pleasant. Not sure if I would still recommend, though.

We gathered as a group of eight for brunch, & every detail, from the food to the service, was meticulously crafted. The highlight of our meal was undoubtedly the Norwegian platter, featuring fish so fresh it seemed to have come straight from the sea to the table. The prawns were succulent, & the accompanying vegetables & salad added a refreshing, vibrant contrast. The Egg Benedict & Pain Perdu were also standouts, each dish executed with care & attention to detail. The finesse was undeniable-every bite revealed a layer of thoughtfulness, from the presentation to the flavors. Service matched the quality of the food. The staff was attentive & accommodating, seamlessly navigating the needs of a larger group without missing a beat. Their warmth & attentiveness added to the overall experience, making it feel as though the restaurant was made for intimate moments & gatherings alike. If you're searching for an exceptional brunch spot in Montreal, this is undoubtedly a must-visit. In fact, if we weren't leaving the city today, we'd already be planning our return visit for tomorrow's brunch. It's that good-a meal worth repeating.
Came on a weekend brunch for the their blinis with poached eggs & house smoked salmon. Been taking that dish for the past 10+ yrs. Served with buttered baguette & homemade jam. Excellent service. Consistent quality throughout the years!
Loved meeting my friend for brunch here. Great service & delicious food. We were incredibly lucky with the weather & enjoyed our time catching up & people watching on the terrace.

Le brunch du Leméac est une expérience distinctive. Tout est parfait allant du magnifique décor aux délicieux plats servis par une équipe attentionnée & chevronnée. Merci pour les merveilleux moments année après année!
Le brunch est très bon, mais le menu est un peu limité. J'aurais aimé voir par exemples des oeufs bénédictines, des viennoiseries, des croissants, etc.

Un endroit classique pour y déguster de bons plats français. Autant agréable pour le brunch que pour le souper. Je recommande de prendre une table à l'extérieur, car le restaurant peut devenir bruyant à l'intérieur lorsqu'il est plein.
Came here for brunch & had a wonderful experience. The food was incredible, prepared with care, & reasonably priced (comparable to most other brunch places). Their ultra thick slice of French toast was airy & soft on the inside, just literally perfect especially if you have a sweet tooth. The salmon eggs Benedict were also wonderful. Will be back for more!
I went for brunch with my friend. Beautiful atmosphere & good food but the service was quite horrendous. The waitress was quite unpleasant for absolutely no reason & also very slow to get us water & a menu.
Loud & overrated. The food is average at best. Chewy steak, burnt & overly sweet French toast. Brunch manager has an attitude because we asked for no pork in a dish twice, they forgot, served us the dish with the pork, & I told him that was unacceptable. Turns out at Lemeac the manager's feelings are more important than what's in your plate so watch out if you have allergies & they mess up your order not to upset him by pointing out they messed up. Maybe this place was good 15 years ago but it's hasn't been good for at least a few years, no idea why people still go there. Maybe they like to shout at each other & eat bad food served by people with bad attitudes. If you're in outremont go to mikado or damas instead.

Excellent place for brunch. We ordered the french toast & the organic omelette. Everything was really good but the omelette was on the small side. I'd recommend this place !
i would literally eat there everyday if i could, sadly i don't have money for that but i've been there countless times & it never gets old :) the crab cake never fails the duck confit is delectable THE PAIN PERDU is a must try & the bread they serve before the meal is soo good for some reason like some might think it's a little tough but NO it's great edit: FINALLY went there for brunch & omg it was delectable edit(2): went there for my birthday again & yeah always impeccable as per usual. it might be my favourite place in the whole world.
When I say the brunch was exceptional & so good, believe me😍 will go back for dinner & supper. The ambiance was amazing & the place so welcoming, not saying that the service was great too. 🍽️ do yourself a favour & get poached eggs smoked salmon🤤
