This is where justin trudeau & katy perry went on a date. I loved the atmosphere & the food.
The good point is they have an after 10p.m menu which is nice for hanging out with friends.
We enjoyed this restaurant. I find the menu well designed & executed. There is a nice atmosphere with lots of windows. The server was very nice however there's some room for improvement, there was a lot of waiting around for things. Either way when I went up to pay the bill the manager offered to comp the drinks without me asking for anything. This was appreciated. I would go back to try their evening menu.
MUSY TRY PLATES: escargots - super different & good, foie gras - sooooo velvety rich & melts in your mouth, pain perdu - very sugary but honestly amazing
The other plates were also great tasting, but my hangar steak just had too small of a portion of steak & too big of a portion of fries
Was my first time at this restaurant, it was a nice experience, good food, food wine & nice atmosphere
I honestly don't know how they have a Michelin. This restaurant was absolutely horrible. They failed to follow through on my birthday & did not take responsibility. We waited to be seated despite making a reservation & the bread was super cold good terrible don't eat here eve
Wonderful , attentive service & delicious food. Vesper martini, squash soup, steak frites & a baba au rhum for dessert. Everything was delicious. My wife & friends had mussels with fries & they loved their food. Very knowledgeable & fully bilingual staff. The restaurant was busy but we had great service. Highly recommend. Prices reasonable for the quality.
Love the food & the service, one of the best French restaurants in Montreal.
Ordered 3 appetizers & 2 mains, all 10/10 completely out of the park. Excellent dinner experience.
From all the restaurants I visited in Montreal this is without a doubt the best.
Food taste is excellent, service is impeccable & atmosphere is great. The quality to price ratio is very high; you would expect unreasonable prices like other restaurants that are not that good. This restaurant deserves not only a Michelin mention, but also a Michelin star!
My favourite restaurant in Montreal. Every plate is a treat, always prepared to perfection. Each service is delicious. The service is consistently pleasant & attentive. The wines are well selected & variety is quite wide. During Montreal en lumiere, c'est même mieux. Magnificent additions to the menu!
One of the few real bistrot left in Montreal. Great a la carte menu. Prices are reasonable great wine selection & friendly staff
One of my top three restaurants in Montreal, & I happily come back 4 to 5 times a year. It's just as beautiful in the summer as it is in the winter, which makes every visit feel special.
The service is consistently warm & attentive, & the surrounding neighborhood adds so much charm to the experience. Montreal has no shortage of great spots, but this one truly stands out. Already looking forward to my next visit.
The food was good overall, while the salmon tartare was a bit too fishy for my taste, everything else was delicious, especially the duck confit. However, the service was disappointing at first as several staff members passed us without acknowledging us & we had to wait a while for the hostess which was odd because it wasn't busy (just before 6:00pm). Overall, the experience was just ok.
A few weeks ago, was still 2025, weeks went for a lunch to Lemeac, & have to say was impressed. Loved the atmosphere, its loud but for me nice, the lunch menus well setup & service overall was super too. A place to go for lunch but for sure also an evening time. Loved the dessert as well, yummy as we speak. Reservation needed evening or lunch time, can say it worth while. I will be back:)
Not what it used to be…
This place has seriously gone downhill. We stood by the entrance for ten minutes, completely ignored by passing staff. Not even a quick'good evening, someone will be with you.' Makes you feel very welcome.
When we were finally seated, the waiter didn't bother offering to take our coats - just pointed across the room & said,'you can hang your coats over there.'
From there, things only got worse: our food took 1.5 hours to arrive, & when it finally did, it wasn't worth the wait.
Sadly, this used to be a favorite spot. Now it's just disappointing.
