Such a wonderful dining experience! The staff were friendly & funny, & the bowls were so delicious & fresh. Got the katsudon & the gyudon & would definitely recommend. Also tried their PFK appetizer that's a seasonal item! It is a small space with limited seating, so be prepared to wait if you don't have a reservation.

where to start...the food was amazing. as someone from a predominantly east asian city (vancouver), i've been on the hunt for authentic japanese food in mtl & ledon surely takes the cake. we popped in for a late dinner around 830 & were sat immediately! we ordered the gyoza, korokke, katsudon, & karaage don. get the korokke. you cannot go wrong with anything on the menu though!! on top of the delish food, our server, alex, was hilarious & so attentive - a downright delight. i can't believe we hadn't tried this place earlier. time to make up for lost time now hehehe
tl;dr awesome food, wonderful staff. highly recommend.

LeDon is a super cute restaurant with incredibly tasty food. You're always made to feel at home. I've been countless times & keep discovering something new to taste. I highly recommend giving them a try.

Friendly attentive staff & delicious food!
For anyone considering going here: I would recommend booking a reservation because it's a popular place
I also should mention that since it's a small, cozy restaurant with limited space, i'd recommend it as a date night spot, rather than a restaurant for large groups 😊

As a regular customer who visits at least once a month, I can't say enough good things about Ledon Donburi. This isn't just a place I eat, it's a place I genuinely look forward to visiting. If you want to eat a Donburi.
The food is delicious with consistent quality. Every dish is prepared with care & attention, especially for me who has many allergies.
The level of care is hard to find & makes the entire dining experience feel personal.
I highly recommend Ledon Donburi to anyone looking to try different style of Japanese food, something that isn't like the usual sushi. It has a friendly atmosphere, & outstanding customer service.

Super Izakaya! On a visité le Japon à plusieurs reprises donc on opte à tous coups pour le menu izakaya (mais les donburri sont délicieux). Les Takoyaki sont vraiment bons tout comme le karaage & les gyoza. C'est un tout petit restaurant & fait maison. On recommande.

I had a wonderful experience at LeDon Donburi! The food was fresh, flavorful, & beautifully presented. The staff was super friendly & made us feel welcome. The cozy vibe & anime-themed decor added a fun touch to the evening. Highly recommended if you're craving authentic Japanese rice bowls in Montreal!

A bit on the upscale/ expensive side, but dining in made it worth it for the atmosphere & hospitality. The food was very delicious & authentic tasting. Very friendly & educational service from the staff, learned a lot about the food & culture. Would recommend to Japan culture enthusiasts.

Tiny place but people who work with their hearts so, you feel at home. The staff is very welcoming & friendly. I can't recommend enough. Don't forget to reserve before showing up!

Delicious bowls, super friendly & fast service, & very cute decor. I've recommended this place to a bunch of friends & they've all loved it too! Owner used to own Big In Japan, he knows what he's doing!!! Wish it were opened for lunch

Well seasoned chicken karaage. The sauce has a nice sweetness. The katsu don was good, recommend having it with the Japanese curry. They also play anime on the tv with Japanese music.
