Review Summary

Le Vieux Four Manago is described as a standout in its town, with excellent service and consistently good food in a beautiful, welcoming setting that has been refreshed with chic, modern renovations. Many reviews praise warm, attentive staff and an atmosphere that elevates the dining experience, though several note that the restaurant can be loud and busy during peak times. The menu showcases wood fired pizza and classic Italian dishes with fresh ingredients, and the margherita and other pastas are frequently highlighted, while some diners find certain dishes less impressive or portions smaller after the renovations. Accessibility concerns are mentioned regarding the restrooms located downstairs, but other guests appreciate the cozy ambience and the language immersion on the menu that adds a unique touch. Overall, the consensus points to high quality food and superb service that make Le Vieux Four Manago worth returning to, with price and noise cited as tradeoffs.

Great service & attention,
Very loud venue.
The Pizza was a basic just like frozen Pizza made in the oven at Home .

It had no wood taste at all, Although made in a wood burning stove. No Thickness no real crust & was disappointing..

I know people say they love it here… i just dont get why

Super noisy , they should have sound dampening panels for echo of voices

The Fettucini with Gigi Sauce & Prosciutto was delicious as a savior , because we split it in 2 with the Pizza. & finally the Chocolate cake to me was good & old fashion!

For the Wine we had a Carpineto Chianti Classico 23$ at the SAQ & paid 53$
Insane for a restaurant that serves this quality pizza. Alternative was le Vinier wine in a box for 33$ ( no way) so the Total bill
1 Pizza, 1 Pasta , 1 cake, 1 bottle wine,
$128 + 15% tip = 19$ Totql $147.00

Thank God service was #1 Excellent

Better value at Pizza 900 or Pizza Lupi worth the drive….

Disappointing pasta as it was not cooked al denté. We barely tasted the vodka for a vodka sauce. We hope to see the waitress more often but she was elsewhere. At the end, we simply got up & paid at the cash register.

We enjoyed dinner at this restaurant by accident. We were heading into another restaurant close & were advised that the kitchen was closed. We walked into here. It had a really nice dim lighted & cute atmosphere. It serves Italian food. The wood fired pizza was delicious, the chicken parm was good but their red sauce was amazing....we all discussed how surprised we were regarding the taste of the sauce. The ceaser salad dressing was made in house & my daughter devoured it. We were seated quickly & served quickly. The waiter was really attentive & extremely polite.
