Review Summary

Le Vieux Four Manago earns praise for a welcoming atmosphere and notable Italian dishes, with wood-fired pizza and well-liked pastas frequently highlighted; yet reviews are mixed on value and consistency, as some pizzas arrive with insufficient sauce or lacking the wood-fired flavor while others enjoy a crisp crust and satisfying toppings. The renovations improved the decor but made the room louder and busier, turning some visits into a noisy, cafeteria-like experience despite the friendly service. Service is often described as attentive and genuine, with many staff members delivering warm, professional hospitality, though a few encounters report longer waits or uneven attention during peak times. Prices are often considered high for the portion sizes and the overall experience, leading some guests to feel the value is uneven. Overall, the restaurant remains a popular choice for many who praise the atmosphere, the generous portions when working well, and the consistency of certain dishes, while others warn that pizza quality and noise can detract from the meal.

This place was amazing. Fun vibe without being too noisy or busy. Extensive wine list serviceable beer selection. Staff very friendly & attentive without being intrusive.
Our group of four had
Veal Cannelloni
Linguine Carbonara
Fettucini with rose sauce
& a wood-fired Margherita Pizza
Our whole group could not stop raving & sharing our meals.

Great service & attention,
Very loud venue.
The Pizza was a basic just like frozen Pizza made in the oven at Home .

It had no wood taste at all, Although made in a wood burning stove. No Thickness no real crust & was disappointing..

I know people say they love it here… i just dont get why

Super noisy , they should have sound dampening panels for echo of voices

The Fettucini with Gigi Sauce & Prosciutto was delicious as a savior , because we split it in 2 with the Pizza. & finally the Chocolate cake to me was good & old fashion!

For the Wine we had a Carpineto Chianti Classico 23$ at the SAQ & paid 53$
Insane for a restaurant that serves this quality pizza. Alternative was le Vinier wine in a box for 33$ ( no way) so the Total bill
1 Pizza, 1 Pasta , 1 cake, 1 bottle wine,
$128 + 15% tip = 19$ Totql $147.00

Thank God service was #1 Excellent

Better value at Pizza 900 or Pizza Lupi worth the drive….
