My friends & I came to Le Trou to try the bagels & were not disappointed. The bagels are nice & fresh. We tried the smoked salmon, smoked meat, & burger bagels - very tasty & less dense than others. We'll definitely come back the next time we're in Montreal & will recommend it to all our friends.
It's like a blind date turned into true love. I accidentally found this bagel store & became addicted to their bagels. The texture of the dough is just right, & the taste is delicious. Their sesame bagel is my fave. Highly recommended.

22 March, 2024: Le Trou Bagel Shop was a decent Bagel Shop. I ordered a dozen bagels & a bagel deluxe sandwich. Best part(s): 1) Sandwich was really good it's a decent size & it's tasty. 2) Customer service was good & decent that day. 3) You can eat inside if you want. 4) They have sandwiches & bagels that you can eat & order. 5) The bagel was really good as well. Cons: 1) The Shop is the smallest I've ever been to. Not enough space to eat or relax. 2) It's pretty pricey for me but I don't mind since it's taste good. 3) Parking may be a challenge. 4) The location is pretty far in Griffintown. 5) The Shop has a weird entrance & share a building with another establishment. Other than that I would be back here again. Everything was good when I was there. Hope to try their different items in the near future. I would recommend this establishment.
I love bagels, & I find trou definitely levels with Montreal-style bagels! They have delicious sandwiches & great coffee too! Super good spot to just grab a quick bite on the go. The only downside is the vibe, I've gone a few times & the service was always meh - nothing bad but just not the typical friendly/warm/neighborhood-y service i'm used to having around the lil burgundy area. Would still recommend trying it out though, maybe I just had bad experiences!
