I'm from New York so I've had a lot of good bagels. I wanted to try a solid Montreal bagel & this place did not disappoint. The sesame bagel I had was crispy & chewy but light. I had the vegetarian sandwich version with a slice of havarti instead of feta - so good!! I loved the bagels so much I came back to take home half a dozen to freeze! They freeze well btw!

Quelle mauvaise expérience aujourd'hui :/

- Mon bagel aux oeufs deluxe était incomplet : il manquait l'oeuf. J'ai donc dû faire 15 minutes de marche pour qu'ils le corrigent.

- Le bagel était le plus froid que j'aie jamais mangé (il avait l'air rassis).

J'aurais dû le signaler, mais je pensais qu'ils allaient arranger ça. Franchement, un bagel chaud & frais avec un oeuf aurait fait l'affaire, mais j'ai peut-être juste eu la malchance de tomber sur un mauvais bagel.

EDIT : Le propriétaire m'a généreusement offert une boisson gratuite, mais je ne me souviens pas qu'il m'ait demandé si le sandwich me convenait ou non. Je pensais qu'il m'en préparerait un autre, mais peut-être s'attendait-il à ce que j'en demande un.

Love this little bagel joint. Fresh daily. Obsessed with the Everything Bagels. They're sandwiches are great! Love the atmosphere. Enjoy that they regularly add new items to the menu. I met Raphaelle in December & she was kind, inviting & goes above & beyond for her customers. She has great new & refreshing ideas & she is very passionate. I recommend this place 100%.

Good neighborhood bagels with that fresh, Montreal-style vibe - especially if you're grabbing them to go. The bagels I took home were really good later on, so we got to enjoy them for a bit longer.

That said, the menu is pretty limited, & I felt like the sandwiches were overpriced for what you get (tried the smoked salmon, breakfast deluxe & classic sesame & cream cheese). There wasn't enough toppings to justify the price, & by midday some key ingredients (like tomatoes) were already gone. Service can be a bit slow during busy times too, so be prepared for a wait if there's a line.

Overall solid bagels & a nice local spot (parking is a big plus!), but there's room for improvement in value & consistency of toppings/service.

Thanks to all the previous google reviews I found & tried out this bagel place. & I was happy I did as these bagels were heavenly!! The bagel shop is not that big & is located in a nondescript lane with hard to find parking. But the first bite into the bagel sandwich put all my doubts to rest. By far the freshest bagels & sandwich ingredients, super soft & flavourful. Every bite was better than the one before it. Coffee could have been better but again I didn't go there for their coffee.
