About us

Le Surcouf is a welcoming French restaurant established in a Victorian home for over 45 years now. Dominique and the chef Serge will be pleased to help you discover the fine French classic cuisine. In the fall the restaurant offers a special game menu in addition to their regular table d'hôte that you create yourself.

Another great evening at my favourite restaurant! Whether it is a birthday party or an intimate dinner for two, you can always count on Dominique & her great team to make an evening memorable....Also have had some really awesome lunches there too! Thanks again for a great birthday celebration. xox

Still one of our favourite restaurants! Lately tried the soup & hors d'oeuvres du jour, the veal & bavette mains, & crepes Suzette for dessert - all excellent, as was the service. The regular menu is mainly traditional French, but the daily specials usually give you a chance to try something different.

It's been many years since we've been there, due to living out of province. It was always a favourite but so many years have passed that we were a bit afraid of being disappointed. The experience on Saturday was beyond our expectation. From the moment we arrived we felt at home. The service was excellent. The food was everything we remembered & more. What we loved, was that we never felt rushed. We had time after ordering to the 1st course & the timing between the next courses was perfect. We couldn't have asked for more. We can't wait to go back.
