Le Surcouf is a welcoming French restaurant established in a Victorian home for over 45 years now. Dominique and the chef Serge will be pleased to help you discover the fine French classic cuisine. In the fall the restaurant offers a special game menu in addition to their regular table d'hôte that you create yourself.

C'est devenu très cher & la qualité n'y est plus aussi excellente que jadis: pétoncles servis dans une sauce ordinaire; carré d'agneau comporte 4 côtelettes très minces, trop minces! L'impression de ne plus en avoir pour notre argent.
beautiful cozy restaurant.. staff was welcoming & accommodating for a few menu adjustments for me.. the food was delicious. we were happy we chose this restaurant to celebrate our anniversary! we will definitely be back…
Excellente nourriture. Service plutôt lent & distrait (oubli du panier à pain demandé, oubli du ketchup & mayo pour les frites). Montage des assiettes un brin démodé. Gestionnaires très accueillantes. & l'expérience globale de loin supérieure aux trappes à touristes sur la rue du côté de l'eau.

Thanks for taking us in on a very short request. & a table by the fireplace to boot !! Excellent supper, never a let-down. Too full for dessert was my only disapointment but that's my fault.
