About us
Le Surcouf is a welcoming French restaurant established in a Victorian home for over 45 years now. Dominique and the chef Serge will be pleased to help you discover the fine French classic cuisine. In the fall the restaurant offers a special game menu in addition to their regular table d'hôte that you create yourself.

Veal liver, Dover Sole, Foie gras, Steak tartare, Pepper Steak flambé, Chateaubriand and Veal Kidney.

via LibroLe menu classique français incluant des crêpes suzettes. La nourriture était excellente sauf des fèves blanches pas assez cuites. C'est l'ambiance qui m'a laissé tombé. La musique très éclectique à peine audible & j'ai passé notre soirée à regarder des toiles de Geishas ou des têtes de chevaux... ambiance tellement feutrée que les gens chuchotaient. Le service était très correct mais pas très chaleureux. Allez-y pour les classiques français (foie gras poêlé délicieux) mais pas pour l'ambiance.
via LibroHurry! IF you haven't returned in 20 years, please do it now! This mainstay of Ste Anne de Bellevue has been tastefully updated & their menu is fine French cuisine. The service matches the cuisine! Great weekly specials too! Impressive but not overwhelming wine list.
