About us
Le Surcouf is a welcoming French restaurant established in a Victorian home for over 45 years now. Dominique and the chef Serge will be pleased to help you discover the fine French classic cuisine. In the fall the restaurant offers a special game menu in addition to their regular table d'hôte that you create yourself.
Our Specialties
Veal liver, Dover Sole, Foie gras, Steak tartare, Pepper Steak flambé, Chateaubriand and Veal Kidney.

Decor is very nice. The only reason for the score being only three stars is due to the noisy room. This could easily remedied with some acoustic wall & ceiling treatments.View more

Super soirée dans ce restaurant trouvé un peu par hasard.
Dans une petite maison d'époque, au calme des avenues passantes des touristes.
Super service, crêpes suzette préparée à la table.
Les plats étaient soigneusement préparés, petit amuse bouche & trou normand entre les services qui rajoute ce côté gastronomique.
Un gros plus pour le sans gluten, ma copine étant coeliaque a pu trouver son bonheur très facilement. (Personnel très a l'écoute des allergènes)

Totally amazing restaurant. Me, my mother & my brother had bought a 12-inch pizza & a poutine for only a total cost of ~40 dollars. The service came really fast & was extremely respectful. As for the food, it was delicious - one of the best local restaurants in Gaspésie. 10/10 would recommend.View more

Another amazing dinner experience at this fantastic restaurant. With the owner always omnipresent & helping staff while making rounds from table to table, great service is assured. The cooking team is outstanding, putting out plate after plate of what is, in my opinion, Michelin quality food.

We went to Restaurant Le Surcouf for our anniversary. We arrived 1/2 hr late for our reservation & were received with respect & good service. We were the last couple leaving the restaurant, they kept the nice music going & we did not feel pressured to leave. Food & service both were very good. We are going back there with our friends & family.View more
