The food is consistently excellent — the four in our party ordered 10 different dishes — with inventive twists on traditional items, & the service is perfectly attentive without intrusion. Nestled in an historic house with original art on every wall, it is is a delight to all senses. This was my second visit to Le Surcouf — it is now a "must-do" every trip to the Montreal area.
Delicious food, quaint atmosphere, reasonable prices for 2 people with wine & dessert. Great spot for a special date if you are celebrating or aim to impress.View more
via LibroJ'ai pour la première fois pris la table d'hôte, entrées excellentes (crème brûlée au foie gras & potage du jour à l'asperge), mais le plat principal s'est avéré décevant. Le croustillant de canard était en fait un effiloché non confit & le boeuf coriace. Pour fe qui est des desserts : Mont blanc excellent, mais le mi-cuit au chocolat s'est avéré être complètement cuit.
