Le P'tit Rustik earns high marks for generous portions, flavorful dishes and a warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes brunch feel special. Reviewers consistently praise eggs Benedict, French toast and bognettes, along with crispy potato fritters and fresh sides, and many highlight standout items like pain doré and shakshuka. The vibe is cozy and convivial, with attentive staff and fast service in many visits, though crowds can make the space feel cramped and weekend lines long. The terrace is a popular option in good weather, and several guests note easy street parking nearby. Prices tend to be on the higher side, but the quality and portion sizes often justify the cost. Occasional service hiccups during peak hours and slow follow up can disappoint some diners, but the overall sentiment is very positive and Le P'tit Rustik is regarded as a must try brunch spot in Montreal.
Ambiance décontractée & service chaleureux & tout fait maison avec amour! Quelle belle découverte, un petit bijou & à essayer leur Bognettes sans faute, délicieux!
Hands down the best brunch I've ever had. We all ordered a version of the Benedict-I had the classic, while the others went for the braised veal Benedict-& every bite was insanely flavorful. The eggs were perfectly poached, the hollandaise was flawless with just the right balance of acidity, & everything was beautifully seasoned. The potato bognettes were mind-blowing as well: easily the most satisfying potatoes I've ever had, crispy on the outside with an almost mochi-like texture on the inside. Truly an unforgettable brunch.
The pistachio French toast was good, however, important to note that this is NOT TRUE PISTACHIO. This is made with almond spread & NOT pistachio. The flavour is good because we enjoy the marzipan flavour, however, if you are looking for authentic pistachio flavour this is not what I would recommend. I think they should be mentioning that in their menu to not lead people astray.
Otherwise, the food was good. The salmon Benedict was tasty, not a huge fan of the lime sourness as a flavour combination.
The best part by far were the bognettes. They remind me of latkes & were done very well here.

I ordered the Vege Egg Benedict. Little tear in my eye. Then, on the side, they came with these little golden heavly things that I've never heard of. Bognettes. Obviously I didn't cry, but you know, I cried.
Toujours un plaisir de venir bruncher, nous n'étions pas venus depuis longtemps & la qualité & le service sont toujours au RDV ! Notre fille a découvert les bognettes, du pur plaisir !
The PERFECT brunch spread! They accommodated my group of 8 for my friend's bachelorette on a Friday morning & seated us at a table that comfortably fit my group & all our dishes. I got the salmon gravlax plate & was pleasantly surprised at the variety of foods included in a single dish. The whipped lime cream cheese was refreshing & added the right amount of dimension to the smoked salmon, capers, & pickled red onions. I would love for the portion sizes to be a bit larger & for the restaurant to add one more slice of bread to the platter (included one slice split in half). We also shared the seasonal French toast that included a berry compote, syrup, & whipped cream. It was fresh & perfectly tart & sweet! HIGHLY recommend getting a dish that includes the bognettes (potato fritters)! They were so flavourful, fresh, & wonderfully rounded out many of their brunch platters.

Great little spot in the cute area of Duluth for a fancier breakfast. This was not on our list of restaurants to visit, but we noticed the lineup & gave it a shot. We were glad that we did because it did not disappoint! Had the Forestier & it was fantastic. Bognettes are to die for. Would definitely come back!
2024 dine in: attentive service, mushroom toast & Atlantic Benedict were well presented just needed a little salt. They really should replace their hanging sign since it's illegible. Excellent music. 2022 Delivery: everything was simple but delicious. Got the French toast with blueberries bananas & cream, the almond mousse which was light & fluffy, matcha latte, & Bognettes which were nice & crispy.

One of my favorite places to brunch in town. This is the only place I have found so far that cooks scrambled eggs perfectly to my taste, i.e. not too dry & super tasty. I have a weakness for the bognettes, they make such a great alternative to your usual potatoes. I like that they also serve soups, so comforting. I wish the place was bigger, there is usually a line-up esp. On weekends & it's understandable ;) The americano was good too.
