Always friendly & courteous service.. fantastic eggs Benedict & the best hollandaise sauce!
We had a wonderful brunch at Le P'tit Rustik, the best of a week-long trip. All were pleased with their selections with the traditional Eggs Benedict & the pistachio French Toast being exceptional. The potato fritters served as a side with the egg dishes were unique & delicious. The space is cozy & the service friendly.
Wonderful food & service! The Eggs Benedict (both regular & vegetarian) were delicious as well as the salted caramel & pistachio French toast. The highlight though were the bognettes-fantastic! Highly recommend this place!
Worth waiting in line for. One of the best eggs benedict I've ever had. Will definitely be back. The sweet options look incredible. Coffee was also delicious 🤤
Was excited to try but left feeling disappointed. The lettuce leaves were wilted & brown, the potato fritter tasted mostly of oil. The eggs benedict was decent, but the amount of hollandaise sauce on the bread ended up making it soggy!
It was cold inside & the table layout near the front just wasn't appealing (felt very cramped & not in a cozy way) with containers of sugar taking up floor space where a table or chairs could have been comfortably placed.
The service wasn't really warm or friendly- felt rushed & took about 8- 10 minutes for someone to come by & get a drink order. Sorry, I wish it were a different experience I could write about but I just wasn't impressed.
Hands down the best brunch I've ever had. We all ordered a version of the Benedict-I had the classic, while the others went for the braised veal Benedict-& every bite was insanely flavorful. The eggs were perfectly poached, the hollandaise was flawless with just the right balance of acidity, & everything was beautifully seasoned. The potato bognettes were mind-blowing as well: easily the most satisfying potatoes I've ever had, crispy on the outside with an almost mochi-like texture on the inside. Truly an unforgettable brunch.
Possibly the best breakfast / brunch in Montreal. Is it a bit expensive? Yes. Will you wait in line for 20-30min? Probably. But the food is incredible, the service is really good, & the atmosphere is what you want from a brunch spot. The eggs benedict comes with salad, fruit, & potatoes, & blew us away
