Le P'tit Rustik earns high marks for generous portions, flavorful dishes and a warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes brunch feel special. Reviewers consistently praise eggs Benedict, French toast and bognettes, along with crispy potato fritters and fresh sides, and many highlight standout items like pain doré and shakshuka. The vibe is cozy and convivial, with attentive staff and fast service in many visits, though crowds can make the space feel cramped and weekend lines long. The terrace is a popular option in good weather, and several guests note easy street parking nearby. Prices tend to be on the higher side, but the quality and portion sizes often justify the cost. Occasional service hiccups during peak hours and slow follow up can disappoint some diners, but the overall sentiment is very positive and Le P'tit Rustik is regarded as a must try brunch spot in Montreal.
Mind-blowing brunch in Montreal! 🤯🔥 French toast 🍞🍓, eggs & smoked ham 🥚🥓 - absolutely insane! Gorgeous spot ✨🏡, service a bit leisurely 🐌 but charming & attentive. HIGHLY recommend! 💯🙌💖 If I could, I'd give it ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐!
Was excited to try but left feeling disappointed. The lettuce leaves were wilted & brown, the potato fritter tasted mostly of oil. The eggs benedict was decent, but the amount of hollandaise sauce on the bread ended up making it soggy!
It was cold inside & the table layout near the front just wasn't appealing (felt very cramped & not in a cozy way) with containers of sugar taking up floor space where a table or chairs could have been comfortably placed.
The service wasn't really warm or friendly- felt rushed & took about 8- 10 minutes for someone to come by & get a drink order. Sorry, I wish it were a different experience I could write about but I just wasn't impressed.
Hands down the best brunch I've ever had. We all ordered a version of the Benedict-I had the classic, while the others went for the braised veal Benedict-& every bite was insanely flavorful. The eggs were perfectly poached, the hollandaise was flawless with just the right balance of acidity, & everything was beautifully seasoned. The potato bognettes were mind-blowing as well: easily the most satisfying potatoes I've ever had, crispy on the outside with an almost mochi-like texture on the inside. Truly an unforgettable brunch.
Possibly the best breakfast / brunch in Montreal. Is it a bit expensive? Yes. Will you wait in line for 20-30min? Probably. But the food is incredible, the service is really good, & the atmosphere is what you want from a brunch spot. The eggs benedict comes with salad, fruit, & potatoes, & blew us away
This is a bit of a belated review but I stopped by here for lunch during my trip to Montreal. I have to say their eggs benedict was the best eggs benedict I have ever had. Generous portions too. Definitely coming back next time I'm in town.

Amazing brunch ! A required stop in Montreal! The food is amazing, eggs Benedict are to die for. The waitress Emma is also helpful & has great recommendations!
Rustik is the best brunch in Montreal. A beautiful location, wonderful staff, & truly amazing food. The ham is a the best you have ever had! Beans & salad are a delicious complement to the perfect eggs. The Benedicts are an experience. Highly recommend the mimosa kit for a brunch of perfection!!!
We were there around 11:30am on a Sunday & had to only wait 10 minutes to be seated. If you come around noon, note that you may need to wait a little longer.
We ordered the vegetarian eggs benedict, rustik plate, & the french toast topped with blueberry compote. Everything was absolutely delicious!
We ordered a egg benedict with smoked salmon, a french toast with apple, 2 potato frits & 2 hot chocolates.
The fruits coming with egg benedicts doesn't taste.
The hot chocolate was too light for me.
The foods were alright.
What a beautiful place! Me & my friend were looking for a nice brunch place to catch up & for good food at the same time. We were there around 10:30am on a Sunday & had to only wait 10 minutes to be seated. If you come around noon, note that you may need to wait a little longer.
We ordered the vegetarian eggs benedict, rustik plate, & the french toast topped with blueberry compote. Everything was absolutely delicious! Instead of ordering only 1 slice of french toast, we should have ordered 2!

I ordered the Vege Egg Benedict. Little tear in my eye. Then, on the side, they came with these little golden heavly things that I've never heard of. Bognettes. Obviously I didn't cry, but you know, I cried.
Definitely one of the best breakfasts I have had. I got a standard breakfast with bacon & it was something special. My girlfriend had the Benedict Atlantique & everything was bursting with flavour; she got emotional. The server suggested French toast with pistachios & I typically don't get French toast because it's always heavy & feels like just eggy bread. However, what we got was different. The bread was light like a cloud, the pistachios were crunchy & tasty the cream was sweet but not overbearing & it had a blueberry compôte that made it a brighter dish. It was a huge surprise & definitely a great way to start the day!
Saturday brunch was amazing. The wait is a little long (~30 mins for 5 people), but absolutely worth it. The vegetarian eggs Benedict was our favorite dish - amazing blend of flavors & textures. The potato fritters were great too.
